Review from Reggie N.

Pretty standard for a Courtyard. Nothing great, nothing horrible.
The wifi speed sucks. Average fast-food type restaurant. Decent breakfast.
It's considered a good area because it's easy to get to--and lot's of big businesses around--probably why you'd even think about staying here. It's not near downtown Dallas. -

I stayed here again this past week and would like to downgrade from a 4 to 2 star review.
While the area, lobby, cleanliness, etc were all fine, I had quite a few issues:
- The bed was super firm. I really like my pillow tops.
- Internet is free but SO slow!
- You can hear people open and close doors in the hallway - all night long!
- Water pressure was so bad that after I finished showering it looked like my hair was dirtier than before since most of the conditioner didn't come out
There is a new Marriott in the area I plan to try next time I'm in town - hopefully that will be better!1 Previous Review: Show all »

Review from Candice L.

I feel like I must have been staying at a different Courtyard than the 1st reviewer of this place. Great area? More like a soulless, strip mall and office park area right close to DFW. There are many Marriotts and other hotels in the immediate area and you could do a lot better for $150/night.
Pros: Close to the airport and some training/research facilities. Free parking. There is a "gym", but it's basically 3 cardio machines and some free weights facing a wall. Free computers and printers in the lobby.
Cons: Internet is via a short ethernet cord, so you are tethered to your desk. TV is an oldschool bulky number, didn't turn it on so I can't comment on the channels offered. Bedspreads are old and outdated. Mini fridges have been removed from the room and an empty space remains in the cabinet. Bathrooms have bathtubs with peeling enamel. Hall noise is very apparent through the doors and some of the rooms are pretty dark inside.
One of my pet peeves is having housekeeping come into the room when I have the do not disturb sign on the door. Sometimes I don't want my room entered when I leave my computer out, etc. They made up my room while the do not disturb sign was up.
The lobby is newly redone in an Ikea/Scandinavian style complete with cubes of fake grass topping the tables. No real bar to speak of, but there is a breakfast counter serving yogurt and Starbuck's coffee as well as glasses of beer and wine at night.
Front desk people are helpful but I would look elsewhere next time. -

Nice, friendly, easy to get in and out from the airport. The lobby is newly renovated and inviting, the staff go out of their way to help you.

Nice hotel in a great area. My room was clean and they even have the bed/tv setup the way I like it! Staff is very nice and accommodating. I was an elite member and scored some free treats. It's near DFW but you wouldn't have known. Highly recommend.
