The Country Inn and Suites is a nice quiet place to stay, outside Ottawa so you can avoid all the traffic and city noise.
The rooms here are excellent, as is the service. I stayed here with my parents on more than one occasion when they helped me move things to and from Ottawa.
Breakfast is complimentary here and is definitely better than the normal continental breakfast that you might get at other hotels. There is fruit, toast, coffee, eggs, cheese, yogurt, pastries among other items to get your day started.
There is a sort of library area where you can borrow books to read and then return them at this hotel or another Country Inn and Suites somewhere else in your travels.
The main attraction for me was that this hotel was really quiet, spacious and homey feeling. A great home away from homes. -

We chose to stay here because it was close (within walking distance) to Scotiabank Place, and the rates were good.
It exceeded our expectations.
For $110 we got a king sized bed, full bathroom, separate sitting/work area, "kitchen area" with a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker and two (yes TWO) HDTVs (one in the sleeping area, one in the sitting area) and a complimentary breakfast was included, however we didn't take advantage of it.
One thing to keep in mind if you stay here: The address is listed as being on Terry Fox Drive; Plug this into your GPS as we did and you'll end up in a strip mall on the opposite side of the 417 scratching your head.
The entrance is accessible only from the westbound lane of Palladium Drive, just off Terry Fox Drive.
