A good old favorite, the cosmos cafe has been around for a while and is staple on Grande Allee in Quebec city. I still remember when it opened its first location. Weather you're looking for a hearty breakfast to get your day started, a quick business lunch or some cocktails, this is a great place to hit up what ever the occasion. The decor is fantastic, the staff is super friendly and the menu offers a wide variety of dishes and cocktails to sooth any craving.
During my last visit I went for breakfast and opted for one of their many bennies. Yummy!
Go check it out if you haven't been there already! -

Super trendy spot with contemporary eats.
I enjoyed the ambiance with the lights and tres chic music playing in the background.
We came for breakfast. I had the Prosciutto, Pesto and Asparagus Omelette. Hubster had the French Toast.
Eveything was great! -

Stopped in for a breakfast.
Food was good overall. Panini sandwich was nicely done, kids portion cheese omelette was nice and fluffy. Good amount of fresh fruit on the plates (not as much as at Cora, though). Classic eggs benedict were very good, however eggs Benedict with duck confit are really not recommended - it was the most expensive from all eggs Benedict versions, and duck meat was way to salty and simply felt out of place,
so stay away from that dish (sans duck confit, the rest of the dish was perfectly done).
Service was good and prompt. -

Just got into Quebec after a long drive and stopped in on the recommendation of a local gentleman.
Cool vibe, love the DJ instead of muzak; good service. Had the Sergent Tao pizza, large enough to share, and it was yummy. Salty, sweet, perfect amount of cheese; way too heavy on the bean sprouts but easy enough to push to the side.
Looking forward to returning later in the week. -

great place. stopped in for dinner.
got the cosmo burger and although the meat patty was thicker rather than flat causing me to have half of the burger to have no meat it was still good. the fries was also delicious. Brazil salad defiantly something that needs to try. it had grilled chicken, and all the fruits that you can think of (watermelon, kiwi, blueberry, blackberry, strawberry, cantalope, and many others) the dressing was also very light and good with an orange taste to it. salmon tartar was another dish that was that was very good.
the drinks are not very strong more of a water down taste to it in both the mojitos and la pacifice.
desserts coffee crisp was very good and the geyser was top notch. if you like chocolate then this is the one. it take 10 extra min to get because its a warm cake with a gooey fudge center and a scoop of ice cream on the side.
overall great place. -

This place is a urban-french style restaurant with a great quality-price ratio.
I went there with a group of 12 and everyone was satisfied.
Plate size is pretty good with a fair wine selection.
Service was good as well. -

Review from Zach S.
Cosmo's is a little difficult to find if you don't know where to look. It's underneath the main building on the right side (as viewed from La Grande Allée). The atmosphere is more cosmopolitan than I am used to and I felt out of place in my tee shirt and jeans. I had a hamburger (Saturne) and Cosmo's version of poutine. The hamburger meat was drier and had a different flavor than I am used to (this is a function of fat content and what the cow was fed ie. corn fed or field raised). This was my first time eating poutine also. To you other Americans reading this poutine is french fries with cheese curds (similar in consistency and flavor to whole milk mozzarella) covered in brown gravy. It's a Canadian thing and you should definitely try it.

Loud, but lively atmosphere. Young-ish crowd. Not a romantic date place, but a good couple dinner spot nonetheless. Food was good, had the duck ( highly recommend it), girlfriend had a pasta which was good, not great. Service, great once we were acknowledged( in all fairness server had a party of twenty right next to us). Would recommend to a friend, enjoy!
