Like every other student, I'm tres last-minute when it comes to the printing and binding of my final project; it was due at noon, and I flung the Copiesmart door open at 11am.
Needless to say, I was in a crazed panic when I walked-in, but I was colour-printer tickled by their hands-on service and calming, 'this is what you need to do' approach.
I even thought I could pick-out my own cover in my haven't-slept-in-72-hour stooper, but the gent at the desk told me that it wouldn't look very good and suggested a MUCH prettier cover for my book- after all, some people do still judge the book by its cover, and if the cover looked ugly, I might as well not have even bothered writing the book.
I watched in awe as they used some pretty high-tech, electronically-precise paper cutters and binders that made me 'oooh!' from the other side of the counter.
I even asked if I could get a book rebound because I stuipidly went to another copying place that not only charged me quintuple the amount of money that I paid at Copiesmart, but they also printed off over 150 pages on the wrong sides, with the wrong spacing and placed them in the wrong order despite checking that everything was A-OK before pushing print. I pretty much wept in the stacks of toner, right there and then.
Forget those amateurs- the peeps at Copiesmart are pros, and I vow to do all of my fibre-printing needs at this place, from here-on in.
Score: they were so fast, that I handed-in my project across campus, on-time and with 15 minutes to spare. BOOYAH!
