Review from Amy C.
I was pleasantly surprised that the food actually tasted as good as it did without dripping in grease! It really was like a homemade breakfast! I got the omelette meal with home fries and toast...totally exceeded my expectations where it was 1) delicious 2) no more greasy than teh food I make for myself and 3) so big that really it's a meal for two. My fiance and I actually each got a meal, but really...we could have just shared mine, so I didn't feel as bad about the higher cost than what I would normally pay at home although Niagara Falls is also a tourist district.
The food itself was fantastic. I loved the amount of peppers, cheese, ham, etc in the omelette and the home fries were excellent (didn't taste like it had come out of a frozen bag from Costco). My fiancee got pancakes, and he marveled at how fluffy those were, though I know he wished that they had honey or some alternate to the processed syrup.
Reason this didn't get 5 stars: 1) service was only so-so and 2) the syrup options for pancakes could have been expanded considering this is a 'Pancake House'. It totally reminds me of local diner inside, so decor isn't amazing either, but I find that comfortable in a breakfast place. -

This is a great spot for breakfast. Lots of locals. Reminds me of a Waffle House. The food is typical breakfast fare, but pretty good. The prices are just right, but if you're looking for strong coffee, you'll have to look elsewhere. Although the menu does say they serve up espresso drinks, I never heard an espresso machine. . .
The wait staff is very nice, but also very busy. I would definitely go back. -

Man, we were disappointed with this place.
First off, the menu prices are higher than what I expected ($9.75 for my 3 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon), but I could have let it slide....
The pancakes that came with my meal were tasteless. I was super hungry going in, and in spite of that I left a pancake on my plate, even after giving some away....
Two at my table ordered lunches, which came with salad. When the food arrived, their meal came with their selected salad dressing, in the original bottle, put on the table. Same with mayo. Cluttered up the table, and was terrible to look at.
Would not go back to. Would not recommend.
