We'd been driving around all day and all I wanted to do was check into my hotel room, pour myself a drink or five and relax. Easier said than done.
Got the keys from the employe and checked into our room. When we pulled to the back I was SUPER excited to see a bunch of hot Canadian dudes drinking beer out in the parking lot with their shirts off! Heck yeah this is going to be an awesome party hotel! I can feel it, I mean see it right now!
We walk up to our room, I insert the key into the door and open to find..... someone was already in our room! Now normally I welcome this. I like finding surprises in my room (not the bed bug type I'm talking about hot naked man type holding a 6 pack of beer for me over HIS six pack) Luckily the chick was fully clothed and on the phone. I was fearing it would be some hot S&M action like I see all the time in movies.
I quickly apologize and shut the door. We walk to the management office and explain our situation. I also tell him he's scared me for life now every time I open ANY type of door.
Let's try this again....key #2 and door #2 later we get into our room. People free, except us. The party outside is still going but unfortunately I can't join since I have prior obligations.
Morning comes and were up at 9am. There's a knock at the door. It's house keeping tell us to get out. We tell them "Nah-ah I don't think so! We have this room till tomorrow. We are slowly getting up and you can clean when we leave." What the hell do they think those "Please clean our room" cards on the door are for? Decoration?!?!
It was a wonderful sleeping experience for us all /end sarcasm -

We were visiting the north vancouver area from california and found this hotel to stay for two nights .The check in was a breeze and the guy who checked us in took time in explaining the different places we could visit and the best route we could take.We take the keys and find our room is a corner room next to the noisy street.The TV in the room is located to the left of the bed near the closet when it should have been in the centre .Well i dont mind it since we didnt have to spend too much time in the room.The bathroom tiles were broken in some places and the hot water in the shower took a full 10mins to get warm.There was a kitchen but we did not use it .
The free breakfast was ok.The beds were comfy .The checking out process took forever when the asian guy was on the phone was completely ignoring the fact that i was standing there.I had to like wave to him that i need to get going only then he checked me out.The place was too noisy and like the previous reviewer mentioned there were some people outside talking loud and drinking.
For the price they charge you could find a better hotel than this one.
