Review from Kenneth E.
Vancouver, BC
One of the best pizzas ever! Their most popular surprisingly doesn't have meat but not meant to be a vegetarian either. It's their Patate Con Aglio, with thinly sliced potatoes, white onions, roasted garlic, rosemary and black peppercorns. Just a delightful combinaton.
Recently there to do a pickup, i drive 30min each way, it's that amazing!
when i do sit in, i choose the window seat up on its mezzanine level, split into 2 floors here. Very casual atmosphere, italian-like, been here for 20+ years. Sometimes you can catch the owner playing his guitar too.

This is a cute cozy place to grab a glass of wine and a really good pizza (can't get over the mushroom). The crust has a bit of butteriness and is crisp with a little chew. Their menu is a bit limited and we would love to see an antipasto or just more appetizers. In North Van, we don't have a lot of options for places to hang out and grab a glass of wine, but this place is very comfortable. We always have the same server and he's very nice. They have a great to-go business and the restaurant is usually pretty empty. Not sure where else everyone in NV is hanging out, but you should check it out!

What a nice little spot, just off the beaten path of Lonsdale.

Really unique choices for your pizza, Wow!
The crust looked SO perfect. Slightly crunchy, raised up edges, and an interesting blend of cheeses made our group swoon in pizza delight.
(Yes, yes, don't worry, I had a salad.) The homemade vinaigrette is really zesty. Our friend asked for some bread to pick up the extra dressing on the plate, it was so good.
Colosseum has been around a long time, almost 40 years, but it's not reflected in the decor, (if you know what I mean.) Instead, the interior is fresh and bright. This is a family owned and operated business and the owners are happy to share stories if you engage them. Our server was delightful and friendly.
They also have a small shop in Deep Cove as well. -
Review from Peter W.
North Vancouver, BC
This is simply the best pizza on the North Shore, and perhaps all of Vancouver. You got to try the Neapolitan pizza. It's all a bit salty and will probably solidify your arteries, but then again, you are eating PIZZA ... not a salad.
This is our late night, after the clubs close, feeling the munchies and nothing else opens this late on the NS hangout. -

Excellent service, the server was really kind and nice. The pizza was really good! Not overly greasy, a little salty, but yum it was tasty!

I totally agree with Peter W on this one. The Italian classic style pizza is fantastic. The crust is perfect. The Patate con Aglio is amazing with feta, potatoes, onions, garlic, fresh rosemary, and pepper. Thank god they deliver in my area!

Review from Barbara R.
Just went back to Colosseum again...their pizza is REAL...nothing like the plastic cheese stuff you get everywhere else....their quality is fantastic. If you're willing to pay for quality this is your place. AND the restaurant ambience is fantastic.... great colors, good music, service...only thing...not many dine in customers, which we have never understood....
