Review from Tina H.
Pretty decent cafe and a nice change from Starbucks. Good prices.
They have Numi tea, which is a fancier brand than the Lipton they used to have. So glad they upgraded.
Their muffins are pretty delicious. I like the cappuccino and chocolate chip cookie muffins. The salad I had was only ok; I didn't like the blue cheese on it. The sandwiches were pretty good.
Their lattes and hot apple cider were unfortunately not the greatest I've tried.
Service is friendly and accommodating. The girl was lovely and tried to make an ice tea the way I had asked (with the Numi tea).
The wifi is ok for regular browsing but not connecting via FTP.
I like this place for their ample seating in a variety of forms: couches for lounging, booths for groups, regular tables. They have plenty of electrical outlets for people with laptops.
Coffee Culture is a great place to grab a tea, light meal or a snack in Whitby and get some work done online. I like coming here for tea and a muffin when I'm in town. -
Review from Andre M.
Toronto, ON
Pretty full on a Sunday. Nice staff. Really good dark roast coffee. I'm a 'Bucks drinker. Tina may be right but also it was closing time.
The place has a lovely feel and lots of folks hanging around studying, reading, talking, so that place's food and drink can't be that bad. We went to a Coffee Culture in Oakville and the food was yummy, but it did take a while and they go the order wrong. I didnt order food this time at this location, but if you do, let us know how the lads here do.
