Coffee Culture is great as a default place to go where you know you'll be able to get a good cup of coffee and a comfortable seat (as long as it isn't at a busy time).
The building is beautiful, however not accessible, with 5 tall steps to get up to the front enterance, and large heavy doors.
The coffee is good, and at afforable prices. I too, would compare it to Starbucks. It is like Starbucks, but less confusing and less pretencious for sure. I have yet to try the food there
The only thing i really wish that they would change is having the cream/milk and sugar behind the counter, so you have to order it like you would at Tim Horton's. Being able to customize your sugar/milk combination is crucial for a good cup of coffee. Standing there and saying, umm less sugar than that, no a bit less, no, maybe a smidge more, ummm okay that's good, with a line behind you, frusterates the customer as well as the staff, yet without it, it could ruin the delicious coffee).
They also have a patio out front in the summer. -

Came here with a friend because the buzz I heard was that this place is great - comparable to Starbucks.
And I have to say, they were right. In fact, I like this place better than Starbucks. Very friendly staff, very clean, nicely decorated and very fair prices. It had that sort of Euro-cafe vibe that I love, not like the urban "I'm way too rad for this crap" vibe of Starbucks.
I had their "Muffin and a Coffee" deal for $2, which is a great price in my opinon. You can't even get that at Tim's!
Coffee: Pretty tasty, a standard coffee. I have a double double cause I am lame and can't stomach anything less.
Muffin: I think it was called Healthy Harvest or some crap like that. It was a carrot and bran muffin, and wow. It was moist, VERY fresh and extremely tasty.
The only thing Coffee Culture loses a star for is the limitation of space and seating. I have a feeling that during rush hour, you practically have to dropkick people for a seat.
Anyways, I'll be back. You win. The Game. -

I went in on Dec 2, 2010 to take some photos and created a video and posted it on my travel ontario youtube channel called igcentertainmentca. I always love having a hot chocolate here with a toasted bagel with cream cheese. I love it when the fireplace is on and I get to watch the news, read a magazine, or just sit and think about what I'd like to write down in my journal.

Just as the previous reviewer reported, the food leaves a lot to be desired. The music is also pretty terrible, unless you enjoy jazz or holiday music blaring from the speakers. On the plus side, the staff is very friendly and the booths are quite comfortable.

The desserts are great and the coffee is good, but the food leaves a lot to be desired.
