One of the many more recent decent places to eat for under $10 near Library Square. Probably best bang for your buck if you want a damn BIG Asian lunch! Personal fave is their Sesame Chicken. Can barely finish it - and I can eat! I love curry, and they have a lot of choices in that category, but so far I haven't found any that aren't too overpoweringly spicy. I love spice, but I find these too hot. If you like HOT curry, this may be a goldmine for you!
Would have given 5 stars if it hadn't been for the firey curry. Maybe that's a good thing for some. Love the place though - mmmmmm Sesame Chicken! -

Got the Schezhuan Noodles to go. Noodles were kind of oily.
Less than $10, and the portion filled up the entire styrofoam container. This will last me at least two meals. Cheap eat, big portion. Because they fry your noodles in a big wok when you order, the wait for food will be able 10 minutes.
My coworker calls ahead to make her order - not sure if they usually take orders over the phone or if she's special because she goes there a lot and is a familiar face. -

Came here for lunch after hearing great reviews about it from everyone in the office.
I decided to try honey garlic spare ribs with rice. It took less than 10 minutes to receive my order and the cashier was not very good at explaining the different dishes which was not helpful as it was my first time ordering there!
I was really disappointed with the food. They weren't spareribs AT ALL but random-sized pieces of meat that the menu said were "lightly coated in corn starch" but definitely had too much cornstarch as they were heavily battered and had a grainy texture. The meat was also very dry and did not like the photo that was spareribs covered in sauce. The rice was average--nothing to write home about.
In the end, I would go back and try other dishes. I am told that the curry prawns are good and so is the Szechuan chili noodles.
Just don't waste your money on the honey garlic "spare ribs"!! -

Plenty and cheap. Need to fill your belly and got little money? This is it. Our group ordered three completely different noodle dishes and all three tasted the same, so we think it is a cool place where you cannot make a mistake when you order, because there really isn't any difference between the dishes. The photos outside must have been taken at a real chinese food restaurant.

Pictures of all sorts of Asian noodles dawn the outside window of this place, which was what caught our attention in the first place. Beef noodles in soup, Shanghai fried noodles, Singapore noodles...this place was Asian food galore!!
This is a small cafe, with several tables to dine in. There's a large menu, with lots and lots of noodles and rice selections. You order up front, and then take a seat, and pick up your order when done. Bottled drinks are available.
I got a Singapore Cashew Nut Curry with prawns. You have your choice of chicken or beef, prawns, or veggies. It reminded me of Noodle Box. They also have other Malay curry, on rice or noodles. Appies include pan fried dumplings, roti, and spring rolls.
I waited about 10 minutes for my food, which came on a large plate. It smelled great. There was a large serving of rice, and the other half of the plate was all curry! Large prawns, with julienne carrots, mushrooms, and celery was all within the curry. Sprinkled with cashews, this was an awesome choice.
Flavour was great, not too spicy, which is exactly how I like my curry. Lots of prawns too, and I like the addition of the carrots because it added some crunch to the dish. Even though I was hungry, I could not finish this dish and had to take the rest home.
Quick and delicious, this is a great place to stop by and get your noodle fix when you're near the area!! -

This place serves up some pretty decent meals. You taste the freshness and I've never gotten sick from eating here! yay! ( I'm always on the fence about hygene in downtown restaurants.. I know weird!)
My only issue is that sometimes you have to wait a while to get your food because the cashier man, is running around most of the time. They used to have a cashier, but I guess she doesn't work anymore..
You can also call ahead of time and go pick up your food.
The singapore style noodles are great, the Sesame chicken is great too, they serve a very nice hot&sour soup and great tofu plates :) They have lots of vege options and you can choose chicken, beef pork or seafood for most of the dishes as well.
I don't know what type of chinese cuisine this is ( yah.. i don't know what sszechuan cuisine means..) but it's good! LOL -

Authentic Asian noodle place with massive portions at a great price. My favourite is the Singapore curry noodles and my girlfriend loves the Shanghai noodles. (She's 1/2 Shagginess and says their noodles are totally authentic)

Very friendly staff, nice pictures on the wall of each menu item, lightening fast service! Not enough coconut milk in green curry (I add extra at home) and there is no eggplant. Flavour is great though and I'm a repeat customer. Very juicy tofu and perfect rice! This place is a must try.
