I hardly rate a restaurant 5 stars but this place deserves 6 if I could add one more.
Following review from a Chinese newspaper, my family came here for lunch today - place is small but look spacious despite many tablets. Clean, not noisy, friendly and attentive services, good food and price earn this place my 5-stars.
Every thing we ordered were fresh and tasty, just like home meals with a professional taste. Fried noodles came out not oily or salty just the way we requested. The rest were in our stomach, long digested ! There is no MSG thirst-effect.
we had chicken skewers, curry chicken with prata, Hainan chicken rice, Indonesian fried noodles, soy drink, etc.
Well, this place is a gem - go for dinner for 2 combo, add another order, you will have enough food to satisfied every taste buds on your tongue and ask for more.
please bring CASH - no CC here.
oh yes - highly recommended and I definitely come back again. -

I am in love with this restaurant. They serve really tasty food at very reasonable prices, and they even offer 10% off on all takeout orders. Their hainanese chicken with rice is tasty, without being overly salty, and the sauces that come with the dish, compliments the chicken really well. The rice is flavourful, and not overly oily. I have also tried the curry beef, belachan rice, belachan vermicelli, and the satays, and they are all very delicious. Finding parking is not a problem. I would definately recommend this restaurant!!

Coco Hut serves authentic Singaporean dish. Their speciality is their curry dishes. Curry has many varieties since it us comprised of so many different spices. One really has to try a number of different curries to get a sense of what is good or bad. Compared to my own experience travelling in southeast Asia, Coco Hut serves pretty good curry. Just the right amount of chillis with just the right sweetness.
The do-it-yourself combos here gives anyone the most flexibility to suit one's personal taste. Pricing is very reasonable. I would definitely come back here and recommend this place to anyone wishing for an authentic taste of Singapore. -

Official rating from me is 3.5 stars outta 5! The food is okay here, not the best in terms of Singaporean/Malaysian food, but the price is pretty cheap so there's good value here. In fact, I come here a couple times a month for some Hainanese Chicken as it's their specialty dish.
Ambiance (2.5/5) : Nothing special to note, it's a pretty small, family run joint. However, the kitchen is nice and clean so at least from a sanitation point of view, it's a good place!
Food (3.5/5) : Avoid their laksa, it's kinda bland and not that good. However, their BBQ skewers and Curry Chicken prata is good. Their best dish in my eyes is the Hainanese Chicken Rice and being a huge chicken fan, this hits the spot everytime. Healthy portions and ample amount of rice and condiments for the H.C.R. is money in my books. It's only $7 too.
Service (3.5/5) : Small shop, limited staff, but they are attentive and things arrive at a good clip.
Cash only and take out is available.Listed in: Noodles Pour Toi.
