Coast Mountain sports carries a decent selection of outdoor gear. I was here looking for some new trail shoes, but browsed around a bit.
They have a great selection of day packs and small backpacks, along with some camel packs. They do also carry larger backpacks, mostly Gregory and Osprey. The have a decent selection of climbing accessories. There was a whole wall of snowshoes, which seemed to go from $70 to $300 a pair. There isn't a whole lot for outdoor clothing, mainly Northface and Columbia it seemed. There is a great selection of footwear here! They carry Keen, Merrell, Salomon, most of the pairs went for around $140 and up. Though they did have some on sale for $99. There was only one guy around and he was helping a couple different people, plus I didn't see any that really caught my eye.
I think Coast Mountain is a decent place to check out for your outdoor equipment and clothing needs. -

I'm a bit of an outdoor gear geek, so I really enjoy Coast Mountain Sports (even though a lot of the clothes feel a bit older to me.). They have tons of stuff from the North Face, and shells, fleeces, long underwear... Everything you might need to go trekking in the wild. You can get snowshoes and camping gear too, but I think you need to order it specially. I like coast mountain sports, although I feel it is like the store for people who would like to look like they go camping (and maybe skip the camping while they're at it).
