Review from Bong E.
So my review of Club Regent Casino is mostly on the poker room because that's where I spent most of my time. Not much of variety on the games, but I didn't expect much so I was I was pleasantly surprised.
Sitting in the poker room reminded me of the Aztec Party scene from the movie House Bunny.

Just like I'm a fan of Club Regent Casino ... I'm a fan of Anna Faris. So when the poker room reminded me of her movie, it definitely was a good thing.

There's not much to do in Winnipeg so since I was there for a wedding and we stayed at the Regent Hotel and Casino, it gave me lots of time to wander around and check out the casino.
Plenty of table games, huge bingo area, lots of slot machines, free coffee machine, hand sanitizer stations all around, tropical aquarium and they even had a McDonald's in the casino.
Not sure if I'll ever be back in Winnipeg, but if I am .... I wouldn't mind staying here again.Listed in: YouTube

I'm not into casinos so I can't really rank the quality of the venue on that respect. But I can say that the food is atrocious there, so I can see why they have a McDonalds in the casino. Skip the "Royal Palms Restaurant" and get yourself a Big Mac instead. The buffet is cheap, something like $9 for dinner but the food is reminiscent of home care food.
But it does feel like a larger play area than Regent. The bingo area is definitely much bigger and there seems to be more slots too. So I'll give it three stars for large bingo area and the aquarium. -

This is one of two of Winnipeg's actual casino's. There are a lot of different games at this casino and they've actually started adding more tables for things like poker and blackjack.
This is definitely a place to visit, if not only for the aquarium. Anyone can appreciate its beauty and the variety of tropical fish. Lots of parking and a free shuttle from your car, this is a good place to come to play the penny machines :)
