This is one of the best Club Monaco's I've ever been to.

Not only is it huge, but they have everything that you can find on their website. The staff is nice and friendly... and helpful. Come to think of it, I think this is one of the few places in Vancouver where I've had a great shopping experience with the staff. They weren't pushy, and when they asked me what I was up to, they were genuinely interested in having a conversation.

Some things may seem a bit pricey, but the quality is fabulous. I always stop in to Club Monaco to poke around and see all the new trends for the season.

Overpriced and the staff are snobs.

Some of their items are worth checking out.  But there's no excuse for snobbery.

I may being telling my age with this question....but do you remember when Club Monaco store looked like beach cabanas and everyone just HAD to have the sweat shirts with the Club Monaco crest on the front????...I had them in like 8 colors..I was soooooooooooooo cool....Club sweat shirt with my acid wash jeans..HOT look...seriously...

They were bought out years ago by Ralph Lauren and have been a more city chic luxury brand ever since....I have continued to be a fan as my tastes changed along with the company's...no more sweat shirts for me!

I can always count on Club for a great crisp white dress shirt or a nice pair of dress pants....I do find then a bit too expensive but the quality is good so I don't mind spending a little more now and then...

The service on Robson is inconsistent...the staff changes regularly and I personally  have never had great help...but I don't mind so much as the clothes are pretty basic, classic and simple and speak for themselves..

There used to be a time when my wardrobe consisted of nothing more then black, white, and all the sades of gray in between. This also was the same period of time when I shopped pretty much exclusively at Club Monaco. I have since escaped Club Monaco's monochromatic grasp and discovered a whole new world of other clothing stores that include the full colour spectrum in their product lines.

The clothes at Monaco are well tailored, properly constructed, and a great mix of classic and contemporary design. However I've noticed that over the past couple of years their prices have started to creep upwards and this has nothing to due with inflation as similar items at other stores such as Banana Republic haven't had the same price increase.

My biggest issue with Club Monaco has to be the consistent "holier then thou" attitude that I receive from their sales staff. Why yes Mr. Sales Associate, I did just ask for that shirt in another size, I'm sorry to have bothered you from your stressful day of folding. Now, if their staff had just developed a cure for cancer then maybe, just maybe, I could tolerate the snarky-ness but seeing as that isn't the case it would be nice if they could just help me out with looking down their noses at me.

The lack of variety, including anything that would even resemble a colour palette, their uppity sales staff, and discovering other great clothing stores in Gastown has helped me to break my Club Monaco addiction. But every now and then I'm prone to relapse when I see the perfect fitted, button down black shirt in Monaco's front window.

I love Club Monaco. Everything fits me perfectly AND if you have a valid student ID you get 20% off. They also hem/tailor for free.

Perfect for work, evening, day and I've even worn a Club Monaco outfit to a wedding.

Club Monaco is owned by Ralph Lauren so you're sure to get American tailored goods that  always look great.

Classic styles, expert tailoring, well chosen quality clothing sums up Club Monaco. I love this place because it has all the classic styles, and they also have trendy twists on these styles. Their clothes fit true to size, and always made of great quality material.

Black and white predominates the color palette of their clothing, but they also have certain pieces in their lines that add a pop of color to the otherwise neutral palette. (I am in love with the ombre periwinkle silk backless dress of their current collection right now!!)

Their winter coats are always made of the top quality material, and their dresses range from classic sheath dresses to feminine ruffle dresses. The attention to detail in their clothes is another thing I really like. Even basic tanks have a little chiffn ruffle trim around the neckline, or a simple bow on a pencil skirt really adds to the piece of clothing. Once they had a whole line of clothes with polka dots! I don't know what it is about it, but I absolutely love polka dots! I was actually wearing a polka dot scarf when I was browsing through all this collection too.

Also, they have a great accessory line of beautiful scarves, jewlery, belts, and even bags.

At this location, there's both the men's and ladies collections, as well as the second floor being dedicated to sale items.

Service is usually good here, the salespeople aren't too pushy, and they're usually helpful in finding what you're looking for.

Amongst the generic chains pimping unremarkable and badly crafted designs and sweatpants with the brand stitched indiscreetly on the bum, Club Monaco is a breath of fresh air. Really.

Though cost has gotten progressively higher in the past few years, it's one of the few stores that offer fresh and clean designs that would be appropriate for places other than the gym. There was a point, long ago, when Club's signature piece was a sweatshirt with the brand's logo emblazoned on the chest. Now, however, they've renown for bringing more fashion-forward pieces to the masses, while never forgoing the customer and their specific needs.

In the past year or so, I have grown more and more fond of Club Monaco. I cannot say enough good things about the product.  The quality is fantastic, and the designs are very modern, yet classic.  Their prices are a little higher, but you absolutely do get what you pay for.  I am yet to have had a negative experience with Club Monaco product.
The sales staff on the other hand, are hit or miss.  I have had a couple of good experiences with sales associates who were quite friendly.  All too often, however, I have been stared at as I walk into the store without even a simple hello.  I recall shopping around in the upstairs menswear shop where two employees were having a conversation.  One of them was complaining rather loudly about how someone had called him lazy.  I found that quite interesting, since I was not acknowledged for the entire ten minutes I was browsing.
In conclusion, The product is terrific, and the staff are sometimes great, and sometimes not.

The best thing about the menswear at Club Monaco is the cut of the clothing. Everything fits so well from the tailored shirts to the classic blazers. The looks can be on the edge of preppy but everything in the store right down to the skinny plaid ties are excellently designed and constructed. If I had more money I would own more clothes from Club Monaco.
