Review from Matthew, Alan S.

A great spot for a drink or a meal. Nice decor and atmosphere, clean throughout and fantastic music. Very good service, I haven't ever had an unpleasant experience and i come here a lot. Really good food for the prices! My fave is the marsala mushroom melt with red wine and onions. Yum! Plus they've got great beers on tap and of course....cute waitresses! Especially the bartender, wow! I keep trying to get her number....so far no dice (ill keep trying though!)

I went here for a drink with some classmates. We had nachos and beer. I quite loved the atmosphere . It was casual but still laid back. The nachos were surprisingly good - definitely better than pub food. Our server was friendly, and the music wasn't that loud.
To sum up, this is a great alternative to the campus pub - worth a try for anyone up at SFU. -

I live nearby, so I've been here on a few different occassions. The prices are pretty decent, and it's not a bad choice if you're looking for a place to eat near the SFU Burnaby campus. The portions are huge, but overall I find that most of the stuff on the menu I could easily cook at home -and do a better job.
My husband is a grad student, and he comes here for drinks and burgers with his lab group every once and a while. It's a perfect place for that kind of gathering, just not for a "nice" meal out. -

Nice, relaxed restaurant, music not too loud, but the food is kinda bland. I've been here twice and had big meals.
I got a healthy heart platter, which has protein and vegetables. I liked everything except the chicken. It was so tough I couldn't even chew a single piece! The mushrooms on the plate were watery as well. The rest was fine - nothing amazing.
For appetizers, their tzatziki is quite weak - it's the runny, inauthentic kind. No thick yogurt or cucumbers there - looked like a bottled sauce. If you want something small, get their tomatoes with basil and garlic or bruschetta. Personally, I am not crazy about this restaurant. Haven't tried it all, of course. -

This place is great! All the food is amazing and the so is the staff. It's a great place to go after class and I even come back up the hill to come here. I've tried a lot of their food and I've liked it all.
I would highly recommend it, it's definitely the best restaurant up at SFU.
