I love this little place. My gramma has been going here since she was a kid, and its still pretty much the same. It has even been featured in some film and television seres. It was "The Talon" in the Smallville series. .
The times are typically.......
7pm & 9m
& matinées on the weekend, for spring & Christmas break and during the summer......
typically at 1pm & 3pm
When you pay to get into the first movie, you can stay for the second for free :) VERY good deal!!! The Ticket prices are a great deal too, the more people who buy together, the cheaper it is, and Tuesdays are even less.
Oh and the drinks and popcorn and treats are a great deal! Drinks & popcorn = Small for $2 ......Medium for $3 .....and Large for $4. They also use REAL butter, melted fresh everyday. & Candy is only $1.50
You can also rent out the theater for a birthday or fundraiser for only $150, if it is a movie they are currently playing/have in stock or for $300 if its a movie they have had in the past. GREAT DEAL!!! Fun for kids, and a good way to make lots of money for a fundraiser because you can sell the tickets yourself for what ever price you want... just an idea. :)
You can also buy big bags of fresh popcorn for your kids school or for works parties, summer BBQ's or whatever.
SUPPORT you local businesses and help preserve a little piece of history in Cloverdale!!!!! -

How can you go wrong with bring your own container specials. Cutesy, quaint, vintage, cozy, fun atmosphere. Concession and admission were reasonably priced. We will definitely be back :)

This place is awesome!!! Old time movie theatre with great prices. They let you bring in your own containers for popcorn and pop and they just charge you $2.50 for each!!

My wife and I go here if we want something other than the normal movie experience. It is an older cinema but you get real value for what you pay.
Typically, on the weekend they have a double bill, which means that you get two movies for the price of one. They do not get the big releases but if you are willing to wait a couple weeks, and avoid the crowds, it will usually be featured at the Clova. -

We don't come here for the action flicks, but for a comedy, this little spot is perfect!
My husband and I love to go on Tuesday nights... for two movies, large popcorn and a drink, we pay $13 + tax. (that is one movie ticket at a regular theatre).
But my favourite part is the lovely owner who comes in before the movie, shushes the rude noisy people, and says a few words.
The clova is a little step back in time.
