I stopped in click shoes last night on a whim after stopping in anthropologie on southport. I have been to click a number of times and never really taken the time to talk to anyone who was working there. I am a HUGE fan of nordstrom, so most of my shoes are from there b/c the staff at nordstrom are so incredibly informative and helpful.  Well, I must say, Alicia at click shoes is amazing.

Alicia showed me what  was new and made a few recommendations. I tried on a pair that I knew I would like and then another that was a little fashion forward for me. The size with the more fashionable shoe seemed a little off, but Alicia didn't have a half size. She called both of her managers and then the vender to check if it was made in half sizes. Now that is customer service! I left with 2 new pairs of boots and a HUGE smile on my face.

I also witnessed a no-hassle exchange where the customer had no receipt. That customer walked out super happy too.

All and all - a great experience. The selection may not be huge, but that's why you should try on something different that doesn't look like every other shoe in your closet!!! Thanks Click!

I bought a Groupon for Click Shoes without having been in the store before (I love love love shoes).  I went in one rainy weekday night about an hour before closing.  It's a cute store - small, but I like the way everything is organized by size.  The clerk (maybe owner?) was friendly, but not pushy.  The shoes are quite unique - I found a pair of sandals I loved and haven't seen them anywhere else.  The prices are a little high for my tastes, so I doubt I will frequent the store, but if you like shoes I recommend stopping in Click if you are on Southport.

I think that I came to Click Shoes & More at the wrong time of year. They were in the middle of selling out their summer shoes and filling in their stock with fall and winter shoes.

I popped in looking for something specific and they didn't have it, which is cool, but the rest of their selection was really limited. I didn't really see anything that I liked for any season, which is strange since I'm a complete shoe addict.

The prices were reasonable and the sales clerk was nice, but I was disappointed in the selection.

I have what is commonly known as "curse of the average size foot".  Depending on the brand, I can range anywhere from a size 8 to a 9, medium width.  This, my friends, means certain death when shopping for sale shoes.  Nordstrom Rack is torture for me.  After the fifth shoe I pick up that is super adorable, a good brand, and marked down 80% that turns out to be a size 7 1/2 I sob and have to leave the department  before a whole rack comes crashing down "accidentally".

When I walked into Click (suggested by a friend - I am normally not a Southport Ave shopper) I was certain this was going to be hooty-snooty central, with all the shoes priced at $350 and some urban mom type salesgirl giving me the stink eye like I was some homeless beggar.

But wait, what is this?  A cute shop with nice employees AND devastatingly fabulous shoes?  Oh someone get out the defibrillator - I think my heart just stopped!

And just when I thought it couldn't get any better - oh my yes it does!  They are having a sale! And not just ANY sale, a whole table devoted to shoes marked down to $19.95.  Excitement turns to mistrust, however, once flashbacks from The Rack start occurring.

Confident this is a waste of time, I skim the selection, rolling my eyes the whole time. Why am I even bothering to look?  None of these are going to be my size....wait.  I push aside a box to get a better look and there it is - 8 1/2!  THE LAST ONE. And not just one pair, TWO DIFFERENT ONES are my size.  Suddenly lightheaded, I grab them both before someone comes over to tell me those are on the table by mistake (they weren't).

And now I have 2 pairs of gorgeous, brand name summer shoes, ready to rock in a few months, for less than what I would have paid at Target. (not that I buy shoes from Target since they are crap, but you know what I am saying.)

    Fin.

Very cute space, shoes and accessories.  The young woman working there actually seemed to like her job.  She was exceptionally warm, but not the fake and oh so fluffy "Hi, can I help you find something, and then you can get the hell out" voice with no eye contact LOL.

Click was having a buy one, get the next pair for a penny sale.  What more could a woman ask for?!  The shoes and boots were fashionable and somewhat reasonable.

My ONLY complaint... nothing cute in my size.  But, that doesn't mean I won't stop by click from time to time.

Ladies, who's with me?  I'm TIRED of the Southport boutique scene.  Most shops are super-pricey, lack selection and let's be honest, will probably be out of business in the near future.  With all of that said, I'm hoping Click sticks it out!  This store is absolutely adorable with stylish, affordable shoes!  Who would have thunk it?

I have a supreme collection of heels, so I was in the market for a cute pair of flats.  Not only was there a good selection, but they had my sasquatch size in stock (10) in almost every style I tried on.

For the flip-flop fans out there... Rainbows are in stock.  Click also carries Reefs and Indigos, which I'm delighted to say were worth every penny ($45) that I paid for them.  Very comfortable and stylish, well, for flip-flops.

Important to note:  The menfolk shouldn't mind escorting their ladies to Click.  There are comfy man-friendly chairs they can camp out in while their wives/girlfriends shop till they drop.  Also, the staff was extrememly accommodating and offered feedback (both good and bad) on the various styles carried in the store.  For example, as I tried on my Indigo flip-flops one of the girls commented that some customers did not prefer them because they run wide, etc.  I like it when I get an honest opinion on a product rather than a robot-like shop employee telling me that everything looks great.

All in all, an excellent Southport shopping experience.  Stop in!

I've walked by this store numerous times but finally decided to go in because I needed to treat myself with some shoes since I am not an avid shopper. I will admit I am not a girl with a HUGE sense of fashion so I don't like shopping that much cause I get overwhelmed. The ladies at Click resolved that problem. From the moment I walked in they were SO helpful but not overbearing AT ALL. I almost felt like I was shopping with my girlfriends because they told you the truth about how things looked on you and gave really great suggestions. The selection in the store was also great. i have a size 9.5 shoe and I often find that stores run out of shoes in my size but this store had plenty! Not only do they have great shoes, but their accessories and cute tops are also great. I can't believe I passed by this store so many times and never went in. I will be making up for what I missed out on from now on. I will definitely be back. Oh, the BEST part of the shopping trip was they had a sale: buy a pair of shoes get the 2nd pair for 1 penny. A quality shoe for $0.01?! Fantastic!

I bought my new favorite accessory here, and that is a big, shiny, black, flexible rubber head/hairband that I wear with EVERYTHING. People keep stopping me and asking where it came from, and I'm hesitant to say.
Why? Because the sales staff needs some help/experience: I was trying on a pair of T-strap high heels that looked adorable, but were a half-size too small; The salesgirl kept pressuring me to buy them anyway... I wasn't going to, really, it was damn annoying.
I asked the manager if they would be re-ordering the shoes, and if so, can I please get a 7 1/2?  She said yes and made this big effort of writing down my phone number, e-mail address... but weeks later, I never got a call.
Turns out, I just found the same brand/pair, in my size, on E-Bay for $12.50. Go figure.
Hence, why I've never made effort to venture back, or send others in though I'm only steps away from Southport.

I went to Click Shoes & More last night for a fundraiser and had a great time!  The staff was friendly and accommodating - searching high & low for shoes in my size.  However, I am a size 11 and they had one pair in my size.  :(

I was particularly bummed because they really have a great selection of designer shoes at reasonable prices.  The rest of the group I was with left with bags overflowing with killer shoes for the season - so, anyone with reasonably-sized feet will quench their thirst for shoes at Click and not break the bank.

I definitely will go back & call ahead to see if they have my size!

This store is why women love shoes. Not only does the decor pull you in because it feels like the dressing room/closet that you would love to own, but it also has a very hip selection of shoes per season. The inventory changes regularly, so you should stop in often. The owner Paula, is soooo nice and willing to find you the perfect pair. You will also find art for sale on the walls, hand-made jewelry, and accessories to match your new footwear.

I love this store for the shoes of course.., but also because it has so much character, and it is 'independent'. It definitely adds to the cool vibe of the Southport  Corridor. You should SHOP HERE!!

Yesterday I stopped in at Click to buy a gift certificate for a friend for Christmas. I ended up spending a half hour ogling cute new boots and walked out with an incredible hand knit head wrap--sort of like a hat but without the hair smushing top--fashionable and functional!

When I walked in I was immediately greeted by a warm and cheerful worker and heard the proprietresses little dog give a small bark. From there I forgot my plan to buy a quick gift card and floated from display to display eying strappy black shoes, comfortable and stylish walking shoes from  Echo and the cutest darn gray boots.

I was surprised to see more clothing in the store and the owner said she is moving the inventory to include handmade clothing and fashion accessories as well as some purses and t-shirts. This is a great change that will make the store a stopping place for gifts as well as shoes and boots.

Click: Keep up the good service and keep expanding the product (maybe someday soon you will expand the store too!)

I live right around the block from Click. Due to budgetary reasons this equals less shopping time than I'd like, but plenty of great window shopping. Ooh boots! Ooh heels! Ooh flats! It's a poor girl's dream.

When I do save up enough petty farthings to actually buy new shoes, this place is a favorite. Their shoes range from higher end to moderate in price, and their sales are amazing. Penny sale? Spring sale? Rainy sale? Don't mind if I do!

Plus, I find they're typically open later in the evening, unlike some Southport stores that close in the early evening. Def worth the walk from the el!

The Southport Corridor is dangerous for me. I can't walk a block without shopping. I know I should take a different route or take the side streets but stores like Click suck me in.

In four weeks I will be the proud owner of a custom made messenger bag from Click. I got to choose the fabric and colors and it was on sale for only $40. If you are in the area go check them out while they are 20% off right now these bags are SUPER cute.

Great shoe and handbag selection, competitive prices, a sale area, great service and a perfect location for my morning walk-bys.

The first time I visited Click I had been crashing at my friend's house waiting to move into my new apartment.  My belongings were all in storage and I was invited to a benefit last-minute.  I borrowed a dress but needed shoes as my feet are too small to fit into any of my friends'.  I needed to find a pair of shoes to match the dress between getting out of work in Evanston, meeting friends in Lincoln Square and going to the benefit in Rogers Park - needless to say I wanted to find a shoe store within that triangle.  After visiting 4 boutiques and a Payless (always a bad choice) and finding nothing in my size or even something that would pass, I remembered Click which is in my old neighborhood.

Picture a disheveled woman in old jeans, an ugly shirt and sneakers (I do a lot of running around for my job plus I was homeless at the time) and oh yeah, hadn't shaved my legs in a while (sorry fellas).  I did not look like an ideal customer, and I feel like I was ignored at the other stores.  I have small feet, I was desperate, and I like to invest in shoes rather than buy "disposable" cheap-os.  I had practically no price limit, but the typical sales people didn't recognize that, instead they ignored me in my ugliness.

Anyway, things were quite different at Click.  They had two other shoppers at the time, a mother and daughter who seemed like long-time customers.  It was nice to hear them speaking well of the store.  A Click sales rep listened to my plight and pointed out every shoe in my size.  I described what I was looking for and she showed me something she thought would be perfect, and even though they weren't what I had been looking for, they were indeed perfect.  I tried them on, fell in love, bought them and was out of the store within 15 minutes.

The staff at Click are amazing and refreshing - and their shoe selection is fabulous.  Trendy but unique - I still love my Seychelles!

I really liked this store. Then again, we were the only ones in the store, and I can see how it would be a hassle to come in here when it is packed as it is small. However, I thought that they had a great selection of shoes at reasonable prices. Usually smaller shoe stores tend to be pricier than say DSW, but they actually surprised me. I ended up getting a pair of Dt. Scholl's wedges on sale for like $38 that are incredibly comfortable as well as stylish. I will definitely be back!

shoe heaven.  the staff is very friendly and they have my favorite selection of shoes in the city... i'm no fashionista, and i've never gotten into the whole sex and the city type shoe obsession, but everytime i walk past this store i see a pair of shoes that i swear will change my life.

very unique and most are reasonably priced.  their sales are amazing.  i went there last week and almost the entire store was 50% off.

Great shoe selection, moderate prices and intimate space. Only problem, pushy employees. I can't ask for an opinion if I'm sure you are just telling me what I want to hear so you can make a quick sale. It's a bit obvious.

Cute, comfortable shoes sold by nice people who love and know their product.  All their fall/winter shoes are on sale right now, and the selection is pretty great.  Shoes are in the $70-$100 range, but with the sale I picked up a pair of comfortable and cute Borns for less than $50.  Recommended for lovers of City Soles and Alamo Shoes.

A couple of months ago, I stopped by Click while they were having a buy one/get one for a penny sale.  Most of the selection wasn't really my style, but I found an absolutely FANTASTIC pair of bright red, interesting and unusual heels that belong among my favorite shoes ever.  They only had two sizes left at that point, and luckily one of them fit me.  Despite the fact that I only found one pair that I wanted, the saleswoman gave me half off, since I hadn't found a second to get in the penny deal!  She was extremely friendly and helpful the entire time I was in the store though absolutely not overbearing.  Top marks for customer service and for a pair of amazing shoes.  Minus one star because the selection is rather limited and, at the time, there were a lot of bland-ish shoes (though this was while it was still cold, so I've got to stop back in and check out the summer styles :)).

Eh, nothing really worth stopping for in here. The prices are average & on par with a department store--aside from the sale section which is too limited for much success--you'd be better at DSW/Nordstrom Rack/any larger store with a decent sale selection. The selection disappointingly bland & uninspired. Even as a shoe addict there was only one pair I'd even consider, & they didn't have it in my size (the sizes are fairly limited due to the small size of the store). 2 stars for the friendly service, but without any desirable stock it's not worth a lot. When I'm back in the area to shop at Mint Julep I may give it another shot (addictions are hard to kick ;) but I'm not expecting much.

I feel like Click offers some of the great designers you usually find in Bucktown mixed with some other designers I haven't seen anywhere but in New York City! They always have great deals, and the selection is fantastic. Warning for you others with big feet; they run out of sizes quickly. I found out the hard way when I really want something, I usually have to splurge the full price because it'll be gone by the time it's on sale.

I love Click! Where else can you find cute shoes and boots that are also COMFORTABLE? Some reviewers say the staff are pushy, and while I agree that they hustle, I've also found that if you don't like something they show you, tell them. They'll work to find you something that you do like. Or, if you're just browsing, tell them that and they back down. I've bought two pairs of boots here in the past four months and love them both, especially my warm, waterproof Pajars.
