I didn't have a family doctor when I first moved to HRM and this clinic was a godsend. They're very prompt and efficient and it's conveniently located right next to a Shoppers' Drug Mart, which is perfect when you've got to pick up a Plan B prescription STAT! Or so I would imagine...

Clayton Park Medical Clinic was a blessing because this particular location has a Blood Clinic.
Most of the time we go to the regular clinic, but these are usually a Mon-Fri and held through work hours.
This clinic is held on Wed evenings and Saturday until 12 noon. You do have to pay a fee of $12.00 cash. Don't complain, it beats having to take time from work. The tech there was great.
Make sure you tell them at the desk you are there for blood work. I started to fill out the app as I was going to the clinic, these are two separate things under one roof. So, I got to go right in.
They do have blood clinics in some of the other Walk in Clinics, but call to make sure , so you are not wasting a trip.
This was worth the $12.00 , done in 5 minutes. -

This is my go to place if I need a refill for my medication and don't have the time to wait hours on end to see my 'family doctor'. I've never waited more than 10 minutes to see someone and am always happy when I leave.
