CityTV is pretty easy to watch.
I find that most of the shows on this channel are comedies. They have shoes like cougar town, 30 rock, How I met your mother, modern family and the list goes on.
Come to think of it the entire channel isn't very serious, including the news and the reporters. They kind of keep things loose which is pretty refreshing. -

I never write reviews but I just had to after watching Breakfast Television. Why is it that people in charge think that the way to appeal to a young audience is to be very silly? I am 28 years old and like fun and entertainment. I have two young ones, so I am stuck in the house a lot. I wish someone would create a show that appealed to me. I think that would be a BIG winner. I get pretty tired of hearing that this or that is intended for a younger viewer and then they go and act really stupid and in most cases very unprofessionally. Maybe when I get old, I'll like this kind of stuff more. But, for now, I'll pass on BT.

By far my favourite local channel. The shows on this channel are funny and interesting. Daytime theres not much but after 7 it lights up. I watch BT news every morning as I feel they are different from the suit and tie news anchors. I really liked it when they played Oiler games but they dont anymore. TV shows such as Community, Parks and Rec..Hells kitchen make this one of my fav channels.

I really like CityTV. I choose this channel to watch my morning news because they have fun with their broadcast.
Breakfast television is filmed right here in downtown Edmonton and they really focus on local flavour. They have segments all around Edmonton at schools, gyms, shops etc.
CityTV also has pretty good programming as well. They have shows like The Biggest Loser, Parenthood and Cityline.
I really like watching local television and this is local television at its best! -

I am definitely a fan of CityTV. I think their news shows and breakfast shows are really fun and entertaining.
Because of that though, I kind of view them as an amateur station because they are less serious and less professional when compared to a station like Global or CTV. But that doesn't mean that I love them any less!
Their programming is pretty sweet too. How I Met Your Mother and Cougar Town are a couple of the funniest shows on TV right now and CityTV's got 'em! 30 Rock is also pretty darn good and The Biggest Loser is, of course, awesome.
CityTV is a fun channel. I love it! -

It's really hard not to like Citytv.
While CTV has all the serious stuff, Citytv is the go-to station for comedy. 30 Rock, Park & Recreation, Modern Family...Citytv has most of my favorite shows.
Like Nicole B. mentioned, it doesn't always take itself seriously, but that's exactly why I like it. It's one of the (very) few, if not only, fun TV stations in Edmonton. Beats watching Slice all day, that's for sure.
And if you're not watching Modern Family, you're missing out! Parks & Recreation, too!
