Review from Kenneth E.

Everything's been said enough of its reclining seats, but why I like this place is that it's not overly packed like a zoo like the Riverport or Scotiabank. You can bank on getting some good seats even if you arrive 15min. prior to move start.
Plus you don't have to walk a mile to the washrooms.
and one can't beat the view of going up/down the escalor, it's pretty high up. -

I liked this theatre more before it was bought out by Cineplex. Since then, the theatre has gotten a lot busier, even line-ups for popular movies, because Scotiabank theatre and this place won't overlap their offerings. However, this is still my favorite theatre in the Cineplex conglomerate for the following reasons:
- The seats recline (!!!)
- The aisles are roomy. No need to get up to let other people walk by.
- Cheap movies on Tuesday
- Free parking (used to have to validate, but not anymore)
- It's close to home (ok this only applies to me and my neighbors) -

Better than the rest
I love these theatres. Given the choice, I will always chose Cineplex Odeon International Village to watch a movie. Not usually huge lineups or crowds, big comfortable seats with plenty of leg room, and friendly staff. It used to be Cinemark Tinseltown theatre, but it's business as usual under the new name. Right beside Stadium Skytrain station, validated parking if you insist on bringing your car. Definitely a thumbs-up for movie watchers.
On an unrelated matter, how on earth does the rest of this mall stay in business. Always empty so far as I can tell. -

FORMERLY Tinseltown.
Cineplex Odeon hasn't really changed much except the ticket kiosks and you can now use your Scene points or discount movie certificates there.
Like Tinseltown was, does anyone know if the parking is still free?
Full review to come later, once Cineplex has developed their acquisition! -

It was a bit confusing discovering this wasn't Tinseltown in name anymore but it seems to be completely unchanged otherwise. I think this is the best place to see first run movies in Vancouver.
FREE PARKING
We've been many times and the theatre is never packed. They always have the best selection of movies playing - big budget and more art house stuff. I sometimes get stressed going to movies but here it's always easy and stress free.
