We tried this place based on reviews from here and they were spot on.
The flavours were great and the portion sizes were just right.
We would go back again and again if it weren't for the fact we live in Ontario.... -

A-List. Highly Recommended. Food is delish. Service attentive and prompt. Great stop after a long day of driving. Will return without hesitation.

Delicious! Had the tandoori vegetables and malai kofta paneer and it was fantastic. Service was great.
We ordered a 1/2 litre of the Summerhill wine and it wasn't that good, maybe open a little to long? -

Yum Yum Yum! Everything I've tried here has been knock-my-socks-off-amazing. For years this has been my go-to place for Indian food in the Okanagan.
Gotta love the provocative pictures hanging above each of the booths / tables too. They make for great conversation starters.
Just make sure you save room for some gulab jamun for desert, as it's some of the best I've tasted. -

Chutney provided a great Indian food experience for my family and me the other night as we wrapped up the holiday season with a Kelowna meeting.
The service was attentive and friendly, There were a ton of food choices in each category from about a dozen starters through multiple options in the tandoori and curry areas of specialty.
As in many Indian restaurants, you won't find beef but you will find lamb, prawn, chicken and vegetable variations on most of the main course items. There's also a dozen dedicated vegetarian options. Most of the menu is a la carte. Expect to order two or three dishes at about $10 - $12 each to get the variety you'd like and there should be plenty to take a little home for next day's lunch.
The wine and beer list is modest but thoughtfully constructed with a good mix of domestic and imported products.
We chose a mixed starter plate of samosa, pakora and some other bits with a selection of accompanying dips. My favourite was a zesty mint-coriander yogurt.
My Vindaloo lamb main was excellent paired with some savoury rice. The curries have a 'spicy heat' option. I chose medium-high but I should have gone a tad higher. Reports from others at the table were equally enthusiastic for the butter chicken and various sides we ordered.
If you're there during cold weather as we were, it's best to sit at the back of the room and away from the single door opening to the sidewalk. It's a little brisk each time the door opens. Also, I didn't see any accommodation for hanging up customers' heavy outerwear. as least none was offered. I suggest asking for a free-standing table. I found the booths slightly cramped and I'm only average sized. -

Ate there twice because the first time it was so good. First time, large party, great service and fantastic food. Everything was tasty. Second time was take out. They did a great job packing it up and making sure it was hot to take with. Great work! Eat there!

A little pricey for what you get, but the food is consistently good. The daily lunch special is a favourite - it's different every day and well priced!

Best East Indian food we've found in BC so far! Incredible flavors that blend so well yet can still be distinguished from each other. Had the lamb kabobs and this was probably the best tasting lamb I've ever had. Also had the chicken coconut curry. The chicken was perfectly moist. Started with the Pada chat and it too was incredible. Live 600 km away and can't wait to come back. Kelowna, I hope you realize how lucky you are.
