While many pubs in the area cater to tourists, Churchill Arms is clearly a local haunt. It is small and dark and has good pub feel. The seating areas allow for whatever you are looking for: stools, bar, nooks, booths. The fare is rather simple. We enjoyed local snack foods: fried pepperoni and PEI potato skins. While fried pepperoni sounds weird, it actually renders out some of the fat and is crispy. PEI is famous for its local potatoes grown in the rich red soil, so the skins were a must. For a more local experience, Churchill Arms is a good choice.

Known for having the best curry dishes in town. On Wednesdays there's an awesome 2 for 1 special - great deal (although some say the curry isn't as good that night). On Fridays there's a Fish 'n Chips special for 6.95 till 5pm.
I tried the Chicken Tikka Masala which was the first tomato based curry I've tried and really enjoyed it (ask for hot though because it's not very spicy). Everyone loves getting a split side; half rice, half fries. The lunch size would be big enough for anyone unless your starving!
Only complaint would be that it's a very small pub, so don't plan to go with a group unless you seeking that packed-pub feeling. You'll find yourself waiting for a table if it's a busy night. -

A great British pub with fantastic British style curries. Fantastic owners and staff.
