From the same people that run Harbour Dinner.
I love poutine, and this place is in a league above above Smoke's Poutinerie in Hamilton. For $3 you can sub in sweet potato fries. Tried all their poutines, the Pulled Pork is probably the best. They give you extra gravy for free unlike Smokes.
As far as burgers, the bison is quite delicious. The pulled pork is also a winner. Don't think you can go wrong here.
The place is quite small (seating for ~15), so I often call in my order and just pick it up to go. -

I heard bacon was the way to go here so I ordered Chuck's Bacon Burger, which is essentially ground bacon mixed with ground pork sausage. (Need I say more?) To top it all off, fried slices of bacon are also layered onto this deliciousness. Thou shalt be warned that although this burger is very, very juicy and finger-licking good, it is quite salty. It comes with a side of coleslaw, which in retrospect, I think I should have put into my burger to cut down the saltiness. Unlike the regular side fries you get at bars or cheap burger joints, these fries are perfectly crispy on the outside; they are not too greasy and kept my (short) attention span on them longer than the bacon burger. This place is quite small and seats about a fair dozen so there can be longer wait times and it can get really crowded. If your sole goal in life is to find the heart-stopping love of your life, Chuck's is definitely one of them. The staff was very attentive and prices are also quite reasonable.

This place was fantastic. Best burger I've had a while and the two other guys I went with said the same thing.
I had the lamblicious burger which was delicious and fairly priced for the quality and size of the meal. I will definitely go back here to try the other burgers.
There is an option to make your burger a double patty. I like to eat, but there is just no way that would have happened. Seriously, save your money and stick to the single. You'll be fine. Fatty. -

They say a burger is the best way to a man's heart. Or did I just make that up?
I stopped in Chuck's Burger Bar a few weeks after they opened. They didn't even have their liquor license yet! The spot is small and full of people. We were there a bit earlier than the normal dinner hour and had to wait a few minutes for a table (noticed lots of people going in and leaving with take-out). Let me tell you, their burgers are well worth the wait!
I got the basic sirloin burger, but basic is hardly the word to use. They offer a slew of great toppings, most are no-charge if I remember correctly (which is great for a cheap bugger like myself, a huge pet peeve of mine is paying extra for toppings). The bread is fresh baked and the perfect manger to wrap up a delicious burger in.
My next burger from Chuck's will be their bacon burger. That's right folks, instead of ground beef this burger's made of ground bacon. Think I may get that tonight actually. -
