On the corner of Burrard and Georgia, this Anglican church is steeped in history. Built in 1889 and opened for service in 1895, the church's motto is "Open Doors, Open Hearts and Open Minds."
The church performs same-sex weddings, baptisms, weddings, funerals and has worship and Sunday services. The church has its own choir and the organs are a definitely a centre point to the church. The stained-glass windows also attract tourists. In one of the windows, it's Jesus depicted in brilliant reds and golds. In window 2 and 3, faith, passion and love are reflected in photos of angels and saints. It's really a nice way to spend a rainy afternoon. -

Christ Church Cathedral is a beautiful church in the heart of Vancouver. I went to a wedding here (they perform all types of ceremonies here, and welcome all members of the community, which is fantastic) and was stunned at the beautiful interior. I love the organ as well.

Beautiful church & if you happen to be in the area on Sunday evenings, they have a Gregorian chant service. Definitely worth checking out.
