Incredible place for dessert. The previous average review is completely unjustified. We just happened to drive past this place today and it was easy to see we had to stop. This was the busiest place on the island. The lot was completely full and cars were lining up down the road as well.
The setting is beautiful with the store situated right across the street from the St. Lawrence river. Now for the good stuff.
Somehow this place has managed to perfect a combination of both chocolate and ice cream. About 90% of the people were all getting the same thing. Vanilla or chocolate soft serve ice cream dipped in milk or dark chocolate.
This isn't just any ice cream and not just any chocolate. This is the choice my little girl went for. First I'll talk about the ice cream. It was the best vanilla soft serve I have ever had in my life- period. The reason - I learned it had no preservatives; only a few natural ingredients. The milk chocolate it was dipped in was just as good. It hardened into a thick shell that encased the ice cream. Perfect combo.
I thought I had made a mistake opting for a chocolate milk shake but I wasn't disappointed. Best chocolate shake I've ever had. I would make the 20 min. Drive from old quebec and go back tomorrow if we weren't going home in the morning. Can't talk this place up enough. If you love ice cream, chocolate, or both you have to go.

The chocolate was good, the selection is not so good.

The location of the chocolate place is not the easiest to get to, however the drive to the chocolate place is nice. The chocolate is not cheaply priced but it is worth it if you want to just try it and have a sweet bit of something.
