A 24h hour Chez Ashton. Probably the greatest invention in the world. It could only be improved if it was in Toronto or if I lived in Quebec.
Poutine is well known as the best post drinking food in existence. And, Ashton serves up one of the best poutines out there. So, next time you're in Quebec and you stumble out of a bar at 3am, get your ass down here for some late night poutine action. You won't regret it.Listed in: Poutine

Went here after being told without hyperbole that this was the best poutine anywhere.. well, needless to say, I won't be taking advice from that guy ever again..
For starters, the cheese curds need to actually be melted by the gravy! And the gravy wasn't very good. tasted like a chicken/turkey based gravy you'de get out of a re-constituted st. hubert packet, rather than a much preferable rich, beef-based one.
One other disturbing thing about this poutine was that the cheese curds had this squeaky quality against your teeth when you chewed them. Kind of like the sound you hear while window washing. why do people think this place is so good?
You can get a better poutine just about ANYWHERE else.
