    I'm tempted to leave this review at 5 stars and not bother to say anything else. But just in case you need to know more...

    This was the first bed and breakfast in Tofino. It just so happens that my parents and I were the first guests of the current owners (the charming Todd and Lynda) after they took over in 2003.

    I cannot overstate how great Todd and Lynda are, and what a great job they do to make this place feel like home. We always rent the self-catering Garden Cottage, so I can't vouch for the breakfasts, but something tells me they're scrumptious. The cottage doesn't have a view of the ocean, but you're 30 seconds away, and the two suites in the main B&B building certainly do - and stunning ones at that.

    Plus, you're on Chesterman Beach, by far my favourite beach on the Pacific Rim, after 2 decades escaping out there whenever I can. I quite simply cannot imagine staying anywhere else.
