Their sections are a bit scattered, but I found everything I wanted, and more! Loads of local authors and British galore, so I was in heaven!

Sometimes those large bookstores are good for something. Trying to find a full day of things to do in downtown Victoria on a RAINY day that will not stop is quite difficult. So thank goodness for Chapters. It is a ginormous tri-level bookstore on Douglas Street.
Chapters and Munro's on Government are the two bookstores of note in downtown. The selection at Chapters is the best in town. Plenty of bargain books and they also carry a mix of side products like soaps, teas and school supplies and a small selection of CDs and DVDs. The top level has a nice cafe serving Starbucks drinks. Nice low key spot to unwind over coffee and surf the Web using the wi-fi while the rain poured outside.
If you like book shopping, starting your search at Chapters would make the most sense.
