True to their name, suggesting all things girly and fabulous, this place is dress and accessory heaven. Expect a cute, boutiquey experience, racks of dresses, with prices comparable to LeChateau, Zara, etc., but better made. Some are short, some are long. I was pleased that their short dresses arent so short as to risk wardrobe malfunction. Being 5'11", I have a hard time finding short dresses that I feel comfortable that my bum's not gonna peek out. Not a problem here. I wore one of them to the CJPAC party last week and it was perfect!
Their accessories are really really pretty, not cheap-looking like some places, but still reasonably priced. ($10-30) Having already selected two dresses I didnt get any at the time, but will definitely be back.
The girl that was working on the day I wandered through is either a dressmaker herself, or just very good at her job. One of the dresses I tried on was a little loose but I really loved the cut and colour. Within minutes, she had it pinned along the seams so I could see what it would look like, and told me it would be easy enough to take in.
Literally the best part of all: They will be moving shortly (I think she said to Queen/Euclid area?) so everything was on sale. I got both dresses for $40 each. -

Thank you awesome name, you attracted me. And thank you need for semi-formal gown for a wedding for luring me in.
The day-lit dress shoppe with its racks of cocktail dresses in bright colours, slightly conservative floor length styles and a schwack of pretty hairbands and accessories had me in a slight swoon. (Nice touch with the little vintage mirrors attached to the wall by the way)
With a sale going on (25% off) and pretty personalized service, I was won over... and it didn't hurt that 2 of the 3 dresses I tried on were hits!Listed in: Toronto Musing

Champagne & Cupcakes! These are the two items I want to have present at my funeral...which is fitting given that I thought I died and went to heaven in this place.
I've seen these guys at the Toronto Clothing Show (great place to score some deals) and didn't realize they had a standalone store in Toronto. The store is small and carries an impressive array of affordable casual and semi-formal dresses (from $80 to $250). In fact, I would say that apart from my beloved Fashion Crimes (http://www.yelp.ca/biz...) this is probably Toronto's best dress shop! If you are going to a wedding, in a wedding or just plain LOVE dresses like moi, this is a place to check out.
I wouldn't hesitate to give the dresses themselves 5 star for style and design, but sadly their sizes run a little small and their large fits a 10/12 at the most. Also when I was there neither of the two sales associate bothered to stop their conversation to see if their customers needed anything.
