Home of the 12th Man. Named that after it's unique architecture that allows the stadium to roar. In 2011, the fans were responsible for a earthquake reading during a Seahawk's playoff game, a true indication of how bad-ass our fans are!

I love the hot-dogs outside of the stadium.

Never buy your tickets from a ticket scalper outside. They're notorious for duping buyers with tickets that have been re-printed. Dont be fooled :)

The 12th man experience was awesome! Every year I go on a NFL trip where I watch a game in a different city and stadium. This place rocks. The stadium is not only large but when the crowd gets into it you can feel the ground rumbling underneath you.

I admit we had nose bleed seats but we could see everything. It worked out perfect because it was raining a little and the overhang was able to keep us dry. A good experience for a 49er fan. :-)

OH how I loove the Sounders! I have been to countless games here, this stadium is awesome.. I simply love it. You get an amazing view of downtown Seattle, and when people stand up in front of you, you're view is not blocked AT ALL.. and the VIP boxes are amazing too, I have had a few get togethers in them and its outstanding fun.  the only thing I do not like about this place is they don't offer vegan options for food :/

I hate the new name... but what a surprise.. most people do.

Went to Taste of Washington and had a great time.  The hall was spacious and everything was spread out and easily located by alphabetical order.  The dessert wines were strategically placed all in one place and I was able to hit them all in a short time.  The food was plentiful and tasty.  I left packed and actually hurting in stomach from overindulging.  Had a rookie wine taster who was stuck on one row...he did get his drink on though!  He is all set for next year.  Also, this year, they strategically placed garbage bins at the end and middle of every aisle so we did not have to search for a trashbin...good planning!!

I love this stadium--Seahawks, Sounders, and even a couple of HS graduations, have been nothing short of excellence!

There really isn't a bad seat in the house--yes even in the second to last row in the nose bleeds is a still good view (way too much fun up there).  I love Seattle fans and the rowdiness we bring for the love of our sports teams regardless if we're winning or losing.

Food & beer is normal/comparable to other stadium venues.  The security lines when entering the stadium move quickly, and the bathrooms are clean.  Staff is friendly, and I like that they intervene when fans are getting out of control (you know--the obnoxious, fight starting, totally blacked out drunkards).

If you're an out of towner or haven't yet been to this stadium its worth checking out for sure.

Ps. Football is supposed to be played in all weather conditions (even in rainy Seattle).  This is why we got rid of the outdated Kingdome (RIP).

Wow - what an architectural marvel!

The finest football stadium in the world is Century Link Field in Seattle. I have become a Seattle Seahawks fan simply because I no longer want to be jealous of the fact that 'my team' doesn't have a stadium as wonderful as this one (and of note - I still love the Broncos and Raiders (and the soon to be LA team)) but I love the Seahawks now too!

Everything they say about the sound is TRUE! This stadium was BUILT specifically to channel the sounds of nosebleed fans, so that it thunderously bounces onto the field, shaking the entire stadium. For an outdoor stadium, this is an amazing feat! And unlike the KingDome, opponents not only have to play against the Seattle Sound, but they also have to play against the Seattle elements of sleet, rain, and snow! Everything about this stadium is spectacular!

Of note, there is a good rumor that this stadium was built as a carbon copy of the old Mile High Stadium in Denver (may it rest in peace!) with its horse-shoe design and south stands - by doing such a design, and not an OVAL design, fans will naturally be closer to the field. In addition, you can stack the horseshoe more easily, meaning that fans are basically sitting atop each other, inducing vertigo within any opposing quarterback. The true marvel though is the steel girders that sit atop, causing the sound from above to bounce onto the field.

Paul Allen should be given an architectural award for this wonderful stadium! I'm proud of the fact that I partially grew up in Seattle and I make a point to visit at least once a year during football season - life should not be lived without taking in an NFL game in Seattle, Washington.

    With love - ALI

One of my goals in life is the visit all NFL stadiums. I'm a long way from completing this goal, but this field is another step. This is the best stadium I've ever been to hands down. I came here for a San Francisco 49ers/ Seattle Seahawks game and this place is incredible. For three hours or so before the actual game, there is a carnival inside with games, booths, air-rides and live radio shows inside. The food is very good. I like that burger stand with the garlic fries. And this place is loud! No wonder they call this place the 12th man and this stadium leads the league in false starts. If you're ever in Seattle, try to catch a Seahawks game here. It's really incredible (unlike the team).

I have to divulge that I'm not an NFL Football fan (It's just a bit boring to me).  With that, I had a decent time watching the Sea Chickens lose yet another game.  My bro and I were lucky to score some seats in a lower section, so we participated as the 12th Man....or is it the 9th Man?  Or is it the 6th Man?  I don't know.  Anyway, we screamed like banshees for a good 3+hrs.

The stadium is ok.  Compared to Safeco, there just isn't a comparison.  This stadium just doesn't compare.  There aren't great cityscape views like what Safeco has.  But my biggest qualm....

    Beer.

Yeah, the beer selection SUCKS at this stadium.  Man, I felt like I was in Moses Lake with the beer selection here:  lots of Bud, Miller, Heineken, etc.  I guess they have to cater to the crowd.  Giving football fans real beer might make them a little more belligerent than controllable.  Yeah, if they had real beer, they'd probably tear up the stands, and eat the seats.  Anyways, just found that kinda lame.

Oh, and if you are going to a game, you must take the train.  That was totally the best way to get to the game.

For all the years that I've lived in Seattle, I've never been to this stadium until this year, thanks to the bf. He has season tickets to pretty much every sport in Seattle so we frequent the field a lot.

Personally, I like CenturyLink much better than Safeco Field, maybe it's because of the sports but the seating looks and feels better too. I really love the bands and the fact that it's the loudest stadium in the country... makes it even cooler!!!

The food options are great too - garlic fries and chowder for the win! Beer's great too but of course, you're going to be paying a hefty price for anything you buy here... but you'll always have a great time!

As a visiting 49er fan, this stadium is badass.  Great fans, great architecture, gets hella loud, bathrooms are generously located, and the concourse is roomy.  No tailgating really, but easy access via public makes up for that to a degree.

I'm excited for the next game I can make!

I was at CenturyLink Field (or "the Clink", as the locals call it) in October to watch the Earthquakes play the Sounders and my initial impression was: for such a large place, there isn't a bad seat here. Even in our corner section, where the visiting fans are seated, we had a good vantage point of the action. The venue is modern, clean and offered all the amenities.

Sure, beer here is expensive...but that tends to be the case at any sporting event. So no surprise there.

So, CenturyLink Field as a sports stadium is ok in my book. Now, the Sounders (and their lame-ass supporters group), on the other hand, is another story...

There is literally not a bad seat in the house. I have been anywhere from the 100 to 300 level/ nose bleeds and always have a good time.

I actually went to the playoff game last year again the New Orlean Saints when a youtube video came out about the size of the beers they were pouring and ripping people off at the game, so we got big beers for the same price as the "little" ones. Glad they listened to the fans and did something about it!

Came here as a visiting fan to watch the 49ers POUND the Seahawks! Despite my being loud and clearly for the other team (respectfully), it was a GREAT experience. The fans around us were great, very friendly, and were fun to give crap to back and forth.
Beautiful stadium, although the guy showing replays needs to sober up, I can't explain how else we saw practically no replays, and each time we did the angle was horrible.
I love the lines at the concessions and bathrooms, there were none. But seriously Seattle - its almost 2012, can't the team afford a flatscreen? These TVs around the stadium were a joke.
But minor complaints for a great place. I would deff see another game here.

    ***G O  S E A T T L E!***  Home of the 12th man!

I actually really love this field.

I love how it looks like a football
I love how you can sit in the nose-bleeds section and still be able to hear and see everything going on on the field
I love how it changes colors over the holidays
I love being able to see if from an airplane

The location is great.  It's far enough away from downtown Seattle that it doesn't feel too crowded, but it's close enough to all the bus stops, light rail, international district, pioneer square, I5 and 99.  Whether you're heading to a morning, afternoon, or night game, you don't have to worry about traveling to and from the field.  Awesome.  There also are enough bars, pubs, and food stands to keep you occupied.  You can pre-funk and celebrate wins (or losses lol) within walking distance to the field.  Awesome.

This field is the loudest field you will ever experience.  Its architectural design allows for a LOT of noise so be prepared when you attend an event.  It's great, though.  You feel really connected to the games and the crowds.  Everything together makes for a great experience.

Lastly, I graduated from college here and so I'll always remember this field for that reason.  One thing that kind of sucked was that it poured at my graduation...and without any covering, we all got soaked.  hehe :)

Hey, it's the NFL, of course the beer cost $8+ !  Lol

If you eat the garlic fries, you won't be kissed for a week!  The best food vendor is the roasted corn on the cob.  Don't forget to ask for butter and add some salt.

As a season ticket holder for a few years, I suggest coming early, eating early and drinking early so you spend more time watching the game than standing on line.  Always bring cash because the ATM lines are outrageous.  The inside food & drink outlets accept cash, but the outside ones accept only cash.

Ok.  Me and my friends went here for a Sounders game, because I read in the paper it was thing to do.  But wow. I played soccer when I was a kid, and I have no idea what this was.  And there were a bunch of people standing THE WHOLE GAME.  Geez, I'm trying to watch.  And everyone kept holding up scarves and yelling.  At least we didn't sit at the far end.  They not only stood the whole time, but they sang the whole game.  RUDE! Don't they know that might distract the team you are rooting for!  And this was encouraged!  Something about "full 90".  Ugh.

This is why I like Mariner games, its quieter and not as crowded.  I won't be going back to this "soccer" team anytime soon.

I've been a Seahawks season ticket holder for the past 6 years and just attended my first Sounders game.

The stadium itself is beautiful regardless of what venue is being hosted (Concerts, football, soccer, etc).

They recently renamed it CenturyLink due to Qwest being bought out. It's still strange to have to name it as something else but things stayed the same despite the name change.

They have added new food stands and allowed food trucks outside the stadium so there are other food choices.

One big tip: They allow you to bring outside food and bottled water. As someone who likes to save $, this helps with the huge fees for food and soda/beer inside.

    * Event Center *

Two years in a roll, I picked up the half-marathon package from Qwest Field event center.

Great Location! It's very close to International District and Pioneer Square. Therefore, if there are games going on whether in Qwest Field or SafeCo Field, I can take bus and not worry about parking and traffic.

The event center is open wide and clean. Big space.

I've never been there for a game. However, I'd like to watch Seahawks or Sounders in the future!

Beautiful stadium all around and there is not one bad seat in the place. You never have to wait to long in line for food, drinks or the bathroom. Apart from the logo on the building, not much has changed about the stadium formerly known as Qwest Field, and Seahawks Stadium before that.  It's a clean, modern facility with lots of food service options, great sightlines from pretty much every seats, and expensive beers.  With plenty of food, beverage, and souvenir/gear stands located around the main concourse and upper levels, you're never far from an opportunity to spend more money.

I recently attended my first Sounders game there, and while the soccer vibe is very different than a Seahawks crowd, the facility is equally suitable.  The security process and crowd control is efficient and effective, and navigating the stadium is about as easy as it gets, with clear signage and helpful staff at every turn.

Although I'll be much more likely to attend an NFL game in the future, enjoying a gorgeous summer afternoon at the Clink was might damn fine indeed.

It's a nice stadium - easy access to vendors, the nosebleed section, and all that great stuff poor people like me enjoy!  :)

Actually, I was really impressed by a couple of things.  I follow a Paleo lifestyle, and I never expect to find foods or drinks (aside from bottled water) that come close to resembling anything I can consume, so I was really delighted when I saw gluten-free beer on the menu at one of the food places (something about fish and chowder - it wasn't Ivars though).  They also advertised that they had gluten-free candy, though I didn't get any of that, so I'm not sure what it was exactly.

Also, the staff is very VERY helpful - I think 3 or 4 of them asked if they could help us find anything.  Very nice!

So, long story short - I'm really impressed that a stadium would even have alternative food choices for people with food allergies or intolerances.  Bravo!  I really hope they will continue to bring in alternative foods.  How about fruits and veggies as snacks?  Coconut water as a beverage choice?  Maybe some Larabars?  I know most of you think that's totally lame to have at a football game, but be a hater!

What a great stadium! Not only does it look up to date, modern, and it's architecture is amazing, but it has awesome vendors and hosts Seahawk and Sounders games!

The vedors are great, you can get all sorts of drink and just about any food you wish while you watch the games. Food and drink are expensive and would be really nice if they were less expensive, but I guess we all just expect that since it's a sporting event in a massive stadium.

I love sitting on the east side of the stadium during Seahawks games so you can see the mountains when the sun is setting and during Sounders games, it's awesome to sit on the south end behind the goal in the ECS area where you can chant and shout!

If you sit on the east and west sides you can avoid getting rained on, however if it's raining and you are on the north or south ends, bring a hooded jacket or poncho...fun none the less!

    Great stadium all around!

Qwest Field is the star of the SODO area, and its proximity to downtown Seattle is phenomenal, given its capacity.  I've cheered the Seahawks and sang along with U2 when they performed here on June-4.  It's $8.50 for a beer, and $3.75 for water, but what did you expect?  (By the way, there's plenty of hidden water fountains so you don't need the bottled variety.

Navigating through the stadium is easy enough once you're inside.  My only gripe about this place is the public transportation to and from.  Even when we decided to pass on the bus, there were no cab drivers that wanted to give us a ride.  Granted, this is a yellow-cab bitching, not qwest field, but I really wish there were better options because the bus wasn't reliable at all.

Noisy place that's great for football and soccer.  The view of Seattle is usually pretty good from the south end of the stadium.  Seats are fairly comfortable (individual seats with arm rests and a cup holder) and it has covered and uncovered seating which for Seattle just weirds me out... might as well make it like Safeco field.  It's not really modern but it does the job.  It can get really crowded on game nights and parking is really hard to find and expensive.  We always park pretty far and have to walk in the cold. O'well... Welcome to Seattle!

As far as stadiums go, it is a winner. It is expensive to sit up top but hey we gotta be separate from the masses. The security is very efficient  even on extremely busy days and professional while at the same time being alert. It does seem like the same signs have been there forever but, truthfully, I think that just ads to the charm.

i stopped complaining about hot dog and beer prices a few years ago. its inevitable. if you can afford paying $50/ticket you better to be able to afford $8.50 a beer. its still cheaper here than it is than vegas! AND you get live entertainment. and there really isn't a bad seat in the house. from the views of seattle or elliot bay. to the plethora of sport fans from row A to ZZ.
my only complaint if i had to make one is that you gotta hike for what feels like 5 miles to get to your cheap seats section 309 row NN seat 15 and 16... but i can't complain too much cuz that's the ticket i paid for.

good selection of over priced food. beer and popcorn and cracker jacks at every level so the lines are rarely ever that long. and parking is plentiful if you don't mind paying $30. but my recommendation is get there early - hit downtown grab a few drinks and take a nice walk or even catch a cab for $5 to the front of the stadium!

Qwest Field is the home turf of the Seattle Seahawks and the Sounders. It happens to be one of the best stadiums in the country and my personal favorite. The seats are comfortable, there are a plethora of food options, its location top notch, and the overall ease just a joy to experience. Oh, and it helps when you happen to be watching a game where your team wins!

The stadium isn't the newest girl at the ball, but it certainly is one of its crown gems. It's designed for its fans and for the fans to root for their home team. The field holds the record for most false starts out of all NFL stadiums (108 since 2005 if you wanted to know) and it is also one of the loudest, so be prepared. If you were curious, 112db was the highest recorded noise at the field and a 747 jet on takeoff makes 130db. The seats are comfortable and it is hard to find a bad seat in the house, grante if you are in the top tier, you are going to be jealous of those on the club level.

Located right on the southern edge of downtown Seattle, it is very convenient to the ferries, bus system, light rail, and well drive if you want. Getting in and out is a breeze and if you are taking public transit or walking, check out the street vendors and all of their great food.

The stadium has a lot of great food options. Granted its going to be pricier than outside the stadium, but it definitely is good. The hot dogs are juicy and succulent, the popcorn always seems fresh, and the beer always cold!

If you ever get a chance to catch a game at Qwest Field, be sure to! It is definitely an experience you can't miss out on!

Oh...and the bathrooms are very clean!
