I have recently stayed at Cedar Springs Bed and Breakfast in Whistler. I was amazed that this particular BnB was modernized and had a great cottage feel. I was welcomed by Joerne who was a very hospitable person showing the amenities of the establishment. There were many perks to this establishment that is not to be missed. They had a great hot tub for starters, a well stocked mini bar that placed you on the honour system but I was lucky enough to receive on on the house.
The common living room was enough to make 10 people comfortable and very spacious. They also told me that the one of the Luge team from Europe stays there when they are in town and they have the picture on the wall to prove it.
The room that I stayed in was warm and comfortable with it's own bathroom. I was the only person staying in the BnB but it was a quiet and sound sleep with a very fluffy comforter and soft pillow.
In the morning I was greeted by Joerne wife where she greeted me with coffee and fresh o.j. with the paper. I then had toast and a bowl of fruit salad. It was a fresh start to my morning. But that was just the start of my breakfast where then she asked me if I wanted Bacon and Eggs.....but of course I did! I had my eggs done sunny side and done right and the bacon was the type you get from the deli thick and crispy. Too bad there is no diet bacon but I knew after this breakfast I would have to hit the slopes to burn it off. I can see why many athletes and coaches around the world stay there maybe there healthy portions.
Overall I do recommend this establishment for BnB and will be coming back for their warm hospitality and great amenities! -

Cedar Springs was a pleasant surprise. It is a comfortable bed and breakfast, and it serves really good breakfasts. The room was clean, the beds were large and comfortable, the bathroom was good. In all fairness, Cedar Springs was my favorite part of Whistler (which, to me, was boring and unexceptional, particularly after having spent several weeks in the American and Canadian Rockies).
Breakfasts were exceptional, and I almost never eat breakfast. One morning, we were served 9-flour pancakes. I haven't eaten pancakes in years, and haven't missed them. These were great. The next day, we had a baked omelette, which was out-of-this-world fantastic. The following day, they served eggs benedict. My vegetarian preferences were a delight to accommodate, and Jackie prepared my omelette and my eggs benedicts without ham or Canadian bacon, respectively.
My principal reason for not giving Cedar Springs five stars, I suspect, is because I wasn't crazy about Whistler. There was also an energetic at Cedar Springs that took some getting used to. It wasn't the warm environment that one might be accustomed to at similar b&bs, but it undoubtedly warmed up with each successive day we were there. That said, should I ever return to Whistler (highly unlikely), I wouldn't hesitate to return to Cedar Springs.
