Give me a CD store and I'm a happy guy.  Give me a mix of new and used CDs and I'm really happy.  Throw in DVDs and I'm pretty well set for the day.  Make it an independent store, divorced from all other franchises, and I'm really willing to buy stuff from you.

Whenever I'm driving or walking by, I find it hard not to heed the sound of the siren beckoning me inside to part with my money.  The place is independently run and for an independent, has tons of great merchandise and a great range of genres.  The staff are really knowledgeable, though I'd not go up an hum a song that you're looking for.  It's not that the staff won't help you.  They will.  It's just you'll look like an utter idiot standing in the middle of a store humming an off-key rendition of some Christina Aguilera tune.

If you know what you're looking for, it's easy to find.  If you don't know what you're looking for, it's a great place to browse and get ideas.  If they don't have it, they'll be really quick to offer ordering it for you.  Is there such a thing as too nice?  CD Warehouse is fast approaching it.

I applaud this store for its continued success as it completely baffles me.

This store has some of the most insanely bad prices I have ever seen for a record store. I can understand how this can happen at a store in downtown. I'd pay for the convenience of not having to trek out of downtown to go to a big box store. This however is Kanata, everyone has a car, and Walmart, Best Buy, and Future Shop are right across the street. Anything new release is way overpriced. I suspect some of their stock comes from Walmart on sale. Dvd's that are $5 or $10 new at walmart are selling at this place for $10 or $15 used. Sometimes more! Same goes for cd prices.

I find their vinyl selection sorely lacking, but they can order in albums if you want. However if I need to wait to order something I'll just order it from Amazon and save a LOT.

They do win for selection, if you want something right now they will probably have it!
