Woohoo! As good as it gets!

I stumbled upon Cayne's a few weeks ago as I was going to my favourite burger joint, "Golden Star", reviewed earlier and boy, does this place have houseware EVERYTHING! Not only do they have EVERYTHING, they have at least 47 options of every item!

    Highlights:

    - You'll probably find anything you might be looking for in this place. Any sort of household item. Anything from appliances, bakeware, cutlery, to all sorts of kitchen gadgets!
    - Great selection of everything! I went in looking for a juice extractor, and there was a whole aisle of them! (see pic)
    - Friendly, helpful staff.
    - Beautifully organized aisles.
    - Reasonable prices. This place delivers what it promises. Warehouse prices!

I fell in love with this place, and I bet you will too.

This store is located on the north end of the city.
Huge space and amazing assortment of items. One can easily spend a few hours here just checking out whats new for cooking gadgets.
The main area is divided in two sections one solely dedicated to cooking stuff while the other has dinner and server ware etc.  Apparently this store has a reputation for carrying a huge variety as I found them when a smaller store referred them when they didn't carry that particular item.
Service could use an improvement though as one needs to chase down an associate to help you out.
Good place to buy stuff if you can make it up there the prices however don't compare to online options IMO as unless items are on special. They have online store too as well though I use it mainly to find out what's new or on special.
One of the better place in GTA to get your cooking gadget fix.

I Love this store!!  Anything you could possibly need for your kitchen is here. The prices are very reasonable too. It's hard for me to come here and buy just one thing, if I could i would buy everything at the store LOL.

Great store, great prices :)  It can be a bit cluttered in the store, but the prices can't be beat :)

Cayne's Housewares is like their ads, pretty garish, but still worthwhile to check out.

Since, I've been in the middle of a bridal tsunami ( too many friends getting married) I've been coming here to buy my friends shower and wedding gifts, because they're priced pretty much below the competition.

Last year I picked up the Cuisinart ice cream maker, plus bonus bowl for about $50, compared to the $75 elsewhere; and more recently a food processor for about 40% off the listed price else where as well.

If you can overlook the fact that it pretty much looks and feels like an attic, lighting wise and clutter-wise, you'll be fine.

Normally, my suggested plan of attack, is to look it up online, then make your trip there, make a beeline for the item you are searching for, and get out as fast as you can, because you will get distracted by that shiny Margarita machine, or hefty "healthy" deep-fryer in the next aisle over.

If you tell them that you are buying something for a gift, they normally just stick a sticker on the bottom, for the return, so I don't actually know how easy it is to return things, but they made it sound like it would be easy enough.

The store is split in to two sections, on one side you can find bath linens, and the other side is kitchenware.

Parking can be a bit of a pain, especially on the weekend, but they have parking in the rear, but for some reason, everyone congregates up at the entrance, making it hard to get in and out at times.

If you're a kitchen appliance junkie like I am and like to cover every square millimetre of your coveted counter space with beautiful and shiny wares, you will adore Cayne's Housewares. I can't speak to the store's facilities as I've never been inside - I strictly order from them online as shipping is cheap (around $10-15) and the prices are unbeatable.

I've purchased Kitchenaid mixers, juicers, blenders, food processors, coffeemakers and the like from Cayne's and I've never seen their prices matched. Normally what I do is check Amazon's reviews and then see if Cayne's has the item, and then I gasp at the low price before my eyes. Seriously - if you need small kitchen appliances, there's no reason to ever order from anywhere else. Online ordering is quick and shipping is immediate; almost as efficient as going to the store without that pesky drive to Thornhill!

    aka Cayne's Super WAREHOUSE!

Sure, Cayne's is a bit off the beaten path, but it's  worth the trip! Go first, don't bother with other stores because you're sure to find what you're looking for and cheaper. Cayne's is stocked floor to ceiling with all types of kitchen and bath gadgets, decor, equipment, and trinkets. The assortment outshines many similarly themed large-box stores, but it's not daunting.

Though the layout is like a warehouse due to the lack of pretty merchandising displays, I think that's how they cut costs. The staff are friendly and savings are so much better than fake bread and fruit props could ever be.

Last week, I went to Cayne's to buy a food dehydrator as a birthday gift for my brother's vegetarian girlfriend. The stores he had checked didn't carry them, or had only one option. At Cayne's, I found 3 versions! Plus, the one version he saw was $20 cheaper!

    Awesome deals!!!

A couple of weeks ago my mom asked me to get her a mandolin because she thought it would make her life easier. So I've been hunting online and through different stores for a quality mandolin, stainless steel, sturdy, safe and long lasting. So I came across Cayne's and decided to drop by over the weekend. I was walking into a houseware heaven! They carry everything (almost).

You will practically find anything you need (even a spatzle maker). I can't say EVERYTHING is of THE best quality, but they are worth the visit. I recommended this place to a friend who was looking for a toaster oven that can bake a chicken and pizza. He ended up saving $40-50 for an Oster oven. I was also tempted to pick up a couple of stainless steel water kettles... great quality at great prices too.

I would have given this place a 5 star if only they carried a giant rolling pin that i'm looking for...and still looking... I know where to check out first if I need kitchen and bathroom supplies.

I LOVE THIS STORE! I'm not a big cooker...okay strike that I do NOT cook EVER but I do bake. I'm actually ridiculously upset that I didn't find out about this place before I bought my industrial Kitchen Aid stand mixer.

When I walked in, I wasn't too impressed as everything was cluttered and appliances were stacked all the way to the ceiling and right in your face but seriously, take a look at the prices and those annoyances will disappear. You can everything in this place from appliances to knives to dinnerware.

I bought my blender from here, I bought my grandmother's blender from here and I got a great flour sifter and many spatulas. There's pretty much every type of kitchen tool you'll ever use or need or find interesting. There's stuff in there that you have no idea when you would ever use it but you'd buy it because it was cheap and it looked really cool.

I'm going to say something negative but it's only because of the parking. There's about 4 parking spots in the actual lot and after that it's street parking which is technically not allowed but no one really cares or checks.

Next time I need a kitchen appliance, this is the first place I'm heading. Cayne's the Super Housewares Store!

5 stars for Cayne's - WOOT WOOT! This store lives up to its name, Super Houseware store it is! Hardly a locale treasure, the parking lot to this place is something not to be desired, as it is always busy and full.. A lot of cars park on the road, or in one of the adjacent lots.

Canye's has everything from bakeware, small kitchen appliances, cooking containers, bathroom and laundry equipment.   The prices are really good, especially the weekly sale items.  I've been shopping here for over 10 years, and it's never let me down!! The good thing about this store is that this is their only location, and they have a website. Everything that you see on the website, you can go into the store and find it there! There have been many department stores where you'll find something online and go into their store to buy it, only to find they don't have it in store.

Keep up the great job Cayne's!
