Review from Mike M.
Vancouver, BC
I never knew what was inside Caya, so I decided to check it out. They are way more than just a phone store. Their collection of accessories for laptops, phones, electronics in general were the best quality, most trendy/current and the coolest.
I ended up buying a mini speaker for the beach as well as a PKG laptop case for my Macbook pro. Both were VERY well priced for what I thought I was getting in to. Also for a gastown shop, the prices were very fair.
The PKG case ended up ripping at a seam. Brought it in, they changed in NO questions asked, direct swap. As I was about to walk through the door they gave me a free iPhone portable battery charger. And I didn't even buy anything. Fantastic service and very knowledgeable staff. -
Review from Vincci L.
I've always been wondering what this whole 'Caya' deal was. I first saw their store at Davie and Howe, and from the outside, it looks like this fancy cell phone shop.
As I step foot into this shop, I am immediately greeted. Friendly service, plus one star. As I browse thorugh the store, which consists live Telus cell phones, cameras, cell phone accessories. The salesgirl even told me that they have photo printing available, done within an hour. At $0.29 per 4X6 print, it's not bad.
With some research, I find out that this Caya store is just another Telus store, but revamped and modernized. The photo developing service is actually a Black's Photo technology, which Telus also recently acquired.
What makes this store stand out over others is that apparently a portion of their sales goes to a benefiaciary.
A pretty cool concept, a fresh shopping experience. I like it.
