This restaurant is located conveniently in the Byward Market, yet on the outside edge, so you avoid the congestion in the heart of the market. I had never been here before my friend suggested it and we brought along her baby, who turned out to love the Szechwan food also!
There weren't many people in the restaurant while we were there, so we took our time. This also let the baby crawl around (and try to follow our server into the kitchen!).
We decided to order several dishes between us and share. We got three different things, plus rice and though we tried, we didn't even come close to finishing. My favorite dish was the szechwan shrimps. The sesame beef was also really tasty. Try the hot and sour soup for your appetizer!
I have heard other comments about the service being unfriendly, but didn't find this when we went. Our waiter was very amiable.
