Review from Hana S.
Casa Mia presents itself as a high quality Italian American restaurant with a fancy atmosphere and a relaxed, Italian style of eating (multiple courses savored in an unhurried way.) I liked this place, and would give it 4 stars, but Casa Mia gets 3 stars only because the food and service were not consistently pleasing. Rather they were a mixture of very good things and disappointments.
Starting off, the Caesar salads were not impressive. The dressing contained none of the anchovy or creamy egg dressing that a Caesar salad requires. The Parmesan served with it was not freshly grated, but was the crumbled Kraft kind.
However, the entrees were excellent! We had the beet gnocchi with cream sauce, the ravioli, and the veal cannelloni. The pasta was fresh and tender, definitely homemade.
I recommend this restaurant overall, but be sure you have plenty of time. This is also why I gave them 3 stars. We were there for 3 hours, partially because of the spacing of the courses, but then again we only had 2 courses! The service was very slow. This may be because they were understaffed or some other reason, but even an Italian would have been tapping their foot with impatience.

Meet the Business Owner: Lucianna M.
Casa Mia, which has become a hallmark of Italian cuisine, is also about a pilgrimage. Its been a long journey for Lucianna, who arrived here from long ago humble begingings in Europe in search of a better life. Its about the present day pilgrimage of farmers to the kitchen door, knowing that the quality herbs, meats, fruits and vegetables grown or raised on their own land are welcome and wanted here. Together with son Claudio, the two manage to make the foods of Casa Mia exciting and fun.
