I'd seen Azteca driving to and from my soccer games but hadn't stopped in. That is, until I was preparing for a dinner party and I needed 12 lbs of pork. So I visited Azteca and got amazing meat, awesome service, and they even had nopales! Thank the lord. I will do as much shopping in the future here as possible.

Used to spend a lot of time in Seattle and knew someone who lived around here. The international has a lot of great ethnic markets to offer, and this one should not be passed up. I gave this place 4 stars because it's one of very few markets like itself in Seattle. I would have given it 3 because of the limited selection had it been in California.
This place is not very big. They have 2 or 3 aisles with half-full shelves. You can find all of your Mexican spices and dry goods here (almost all anyways). Produce was not that great (but that was in January; off season) but you can find great produce elsewhere (Lam's, etc). If you've never been to a carniceria before, don't get put off by the unidentifiable odor when you enter. All good Mexican carnicerias have this odor. I really only purchased a couple of chickens and raw ingredients here. Good selection of Mexican chocolate (abuelita, ibarra, others too) and a similar selection of pre-made moles.
Definitely would go here again if I was in the area. -

So happy to find a good Latin market closer to home (I've been driving to Lynnwood or White Center). It's pretty easily accessible off I5 and even has free parking, which is pretty unheard of in the area.
They have a great selection of meat (will marinade upon request), and even a good (but small) selection of produce. They have a large bin dedicated to rice, beans and dried peppers - at very good prices. Check out their fresh salsas next to the meat counter, the green salsa will have you searching for anything to cool your mouth off.
Really nice staff, good selection and close. Not much more you can ask for... except for hand made tortillas, that would be amazeballs. -

I was suffering from Mexican food cravings. I drive past this Carniceria all the time and one day I pulled a U-Turn and went in.
I stocked up on all the Mexican candy I ate as a kid. Pulparindos, Pelon Pelo Rico, Duvalin, Mamut, you name it - they had it! I even got my favorite salsa, Salsa Valentina!
Apart from the selection of snack goods and candy they also have soaps, shampoos, veggies, juices, and even soccer jerseys and magazines from Mexico and other Latin American countries. Prices are pretty cheap and there were 4 big parking spaces right up front. -

This is still one of the better Mexican markets in Seattle. Of course, the meat is good, and there are also some rare things in the produce section like empazote. This time I went there to send some money to my girlfriend in Mexico for a plane ticket. They offered the service of depositing money directly into her account there, a service that Western Union does not seem to offer anymore (though they say that they do online.) I dig this place.
