I never really expect to find a great Chinese Buffet place. But the Carling Wok has lots of seating space. The buffet is well stocked and the food not too bad. What can you say. The Standard fare of Chinese style and North American choices.

I went here a while ago, but it was an experience that stuck with me.
This was the first buffet I've been to in Ottawa, and since most of the Canadian Chinese food here isn't that good, I'm not sure why I expected to enjoy a buffet. We went in and the place was packed which we figured was a good sign, it was unbelievably loud, to the point I couldn't hear my boyfriend speak. I tried ordering a singpore sling, only to find out they don't serve alcohol, so that kind of sucked.
They have a good variety, they had butter chicken for some reason and all your other typical Canadian-Chinese dishes (chicken balls, rice, general tao's). All of it was awful. Despite the fact it was really busy, it seemed like a lot of it was under a heat lamp for hours. After one plate I decided to go have dessert, which is just ice cream, and I suspect it's the cheapest ice cream to ever exist, it tasted REALLY weird.
Also, it's not the restaurant's fault but the people at the restaurant were almost barbaric. They kept getting huge plates that had food and sauce faling all over the floor, as well as yelling, swearing, burping and farting really loudly and then laughing. It was so gross and there were like 3-4 tables of people like that, maybe that's what turned me off of it.
The best buffet I've been to is Yangming on Merivale so I'd say take the 10 minute drive up there and skip this place. -

This returns has changed hands. It is now the Mosaic Buffet.
