Update #3, and I still HEART this clinic.
Dr.Monica Yuzak is outstanding, professional and extremely caring ~ esp. for women patients.
I have been back here 4 times, and have been extremely pleased, and grateful for her care each time.
The waiting room the last few times has been interesting, but that is Commercial drive for you i guess. The front staff are friendly and efficient though this clinic does get quite busy lately, the last time I waited 45 minutes.
And, you need an appointment with Dr.Yuzak who usually works Tuesday, and one other day only.
Worth waiting for!2 Previous Reviews: Show all »

Review from Tessa B.
So I had to refill a prescription and get some routine tests done and this was the closest clinic within walking distance. I admit I was a bit hesitant at first, as I usually go to a very small, super nice and clean clinic downtown. . . and the Drive is, let's face it, home to many, erm, not so 'small and clean' people.
It wasn't super busy, my wait was about 15-20 minutes which ain't no thang when you have crosswords, and the patrons were mostly just normal, not-so gross folk.
Hoooooweeeever! When I got to my room, after having the prescription written, the doctor walked out of the room and just FORGOT ME THERE. Yeah. Boy did I feel important!
In conclusion, this wasn't a horrifying experience or anything close, just an eye-rolling one. I'd probably go somewhere else if it's not too much of a trek. -

I was greeted by the rudest receptionist straight from the Phillipines. No speak English much.
Then, I had the most incompetent doctor who couldn't care less. He/she (not sure what it was) just rushed me out the door. WIll never return to this clinic. -

I rarely go to the doctor, but when I do I know there is something seriously wrong.
For example: The last time I popped in here I had to drag my aching, tired, fevered ass up to the office to be told I had strep throat (I've had it so many times I knew what it was already). The doctor giggled (for real) and told me that the last time I was in (3 yrs prior) had been for the same damn thing. Apparently I am prone (I know). He gave me some anti-biotics and told me to get a woman's yearly done (not related) and let me go my way (you can go your own way....... go your own waaaaaaay.... ahem... sorry). He seemed like he remembered me from the last time, but I could have been so hopped up on NyQuil (thinking I had the flu) that I imagined that. I do believe that he cares about his patients. I believe there are multiple Dr's here because it's a WI clinic, but the Dr's here give a rat's ass about you. Sorry for the slang and expletives, but I'm sure you know what I mean. Good doctor - little hassle. 4 out of 5 for sure.
