Everything about this restaurant is good (decor, service, and food.) I visited this restaurant twice during their lobster festival.
The five stars are for the lobster itself. It was nicely cooked and had great spices. Tasty...very tasty. -

Now that Yelp has decided to include our neighbors to the north it has finally dawned on me as to why I've been holding onto this ratty business card left at my table one August evening - I was destined to review it!
I remember fondly devouring some kind of trout and risotto with a lemon wedge on the side. It was delicious. The setting couldn't have been better either, a perfect, cloudless, comfortable evening seated outside. Too bad my dinner date was my friend Chris or some real magic could have gone down. Instead I'm fairly sure we bought some Molson and wandered around town afterward contemplating what it would have been line to take a... you know... GIRL to dinner there.
What get's me is that somewhere along the line this place appears to have turned into a Fondue restaurant. All the reviews I've found on google look like this;
"One of the more distinctive restaurants on Prince Arthur Street, this upbeat, friendly place offers a huge menu of Chinese and traditional fondues. Most go for the all-you-can-eat table d'hôte special, served Sunday-Friday: CAD17.95 gets you soup, salad, and beef and chicken fondue. Many different cheese fondues are also available, along with steak and other grilled meat options, and an extensive table d'hôte for vegetarians. Though this is one restaurant in the area where you cannot bring your own wine, many reasonable options are available on the wine list."
I don't remember any damned fondue, but if they had it I'm sure kicking myself for not noticing. -

Beautiful decor with lots of candelight that would be perfect for a romantic evening. I was a bit underwhelmed by the food, however. The escargots were tasty but were a bit too saturated in butter for my liking. The traditional fondue that I had was decent but a bit below what I was expecting for Montreal. You can definitely get by ordering the half portion. The full portion was huge! I felt bad leaving so much fondue in the pot but it should be called fondue for two as it is way too much for one person. My friend had the fondue with tomato and herb which was tasty but in a weird way sort of reminded us of pizza. Pizza flavored fondue... odd..but rather tasty. I'd like to give Caprice another try and perhaps sample something other than fondue. Their steaks looked yummy. Also, note that the previous review mentions vegetarian fare. We really could not find any.. other than some salads, and, of course, fondue. :) Service was okay but a bit slow. As there were not many people in the restaurant we actually observed servers dancing with each other to the strange mix of 80s music.
