I was in Victoria when the latest Harry Potter movie came out. Decided to go to the midnight showing. The theatre was like any other theatre (except the pop corn was super good with real butter...hello USA?), but the reason for the high marks is the person in line ahead of us was unable to attend the show, so he asked the ticket seller to give it to the next person in line...US, his ticket! So we got to watch Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince for half price. I would like to formally thank that person now!!!!! Very cool.

Gotta love that great big round walkabout thing with all the windows to get up to the second floor. When you're a kid, that's pretty awesome. I guess.

This is my favourite theatre to go to solo. Don't get me wrong, this an older theatre and for lengthier movies I prefer the comfort of Silver City, but when I want to enjoy a chick flick by myself I love going to Capitol 6. Also you can't beat the charm of an older theatre. Staff is often fantastic. A genuine 'enjoy your movie' goes a long way. 4 stars for Capitol 6 and 10 stars for going to movies by yourself and sitting wherever you please!
