I think they have the best eggrolls in the continent. I love everything at the Canton, probably b/c I have been going there my entire life. Don't expect great service, great decor, or great atmosphere. Just take it for what it is and enjoy the chinese!

First, I must say I am spoiled with eating at many good Chinese food restaurants that offer variety in authentic Chinese food. So while on vacation in Charlottetown, I knew I wouldn't be able to find a place that would provide that. We chose this restaurant as they had a special for 3 items, egg roll, and drink for a reasonable price. We order 6 dishes including the chicken chow mein Cantonese style. This dish was not good at all, I have no idea what noodles they use but it's not chow mein according to all the Chinese restaurants I've had it at. The sweet sour pork was like chicken balls but instead pork, the kung pao chicken was more like chicken stir fry with hot peppers, and there was hardly any chicken in the fried rice. The best dish was the beef and broccoli but too salty. At least the egg roll had pork in it and not all vegetables as you usually find.
Now for those that live in Charlottetown and have not tried authentic Chinese food but like deep fried everything, they may enjoy this restaurant. But I wouldn't return when you can have the real good stuff in the larger cities.
