My husband has been staying here for over 2 months for work, and my daughter and I are visiting for a couple of weeks. Its centrally located, next to malls, shopping centers, loads of amazing restaurants...
Like Tamara M. said, they've got a "pantry" with snacks, free laundry, and an exercise room. The staff is incredibly helpful, and very courteous. They always say "hi" when you walk in, and are more than willing to help out.
In fact, yesterday, our air conditioner stopped working while my husband was at work. I went down to the desk and told them what was wrong and they switched our room... to a suite! We got a totally free upgrade to a MUCH better room, just for asking.
My toddler and I are basically the only people here during the day, its rare when we meet other people, and even then its usually other families...
I definitely recommend Candlewood Suites for any traveler, not just business. Its a great hotel and they've taken really good care of us during this time! -

I thought the location was pretty good. You are not on the main street, but you are by the mall and restaurants. It was pretty quiet and I kind of wished they had a better lit parking lot. The room was like a studio apartment with everything you need but nothing else. I only stayed a night, so I didn't mind not having housekeeping. They do provide free WiFi but it didn't work, so pretty pointless. However the bed was comfy and I had a great night sleep. The room was clean and they provided complimentary popcorn and coffee! They also had a DVD/VCR player which would have been cool if I was staying longer. For the price I think it's worth it!

Location is good. Rate is fine. Room is nice. Staff is very helpful. The only thing odd is the fact that housekeeping only comes in once a week, so if you want clean towels you get them at the front desk, and if you want your bed made, make it. There is a nice movie selection for check out at the front desk!

I've stayed here numerous times when in Dallas. Candlewoods are geared toward the business traveler, usually extended stay. Rates are better the longer you're there. Laundry washers and dryers are FREE! They have an honor pantry with microwaveables and snacks. Exercise room is decent, with fairly new machines. No pool. Weekly cleaning of your room, not every day, but you can change out towels anytime. This location is great, as it's right near the Galleria and not far from Addison with tons of good restaurants.
