Great store, everything is pretty easy to find. (They also have a big customer service/key cutting counter and that lady knows where everything is!.
Parking is really good too. -

This Canadian Tire is out of the way for us but offered the best price for a new car battery. These babies aren't cheap and you'd figure for a ticket item more than a hundred bucks, that they'd include the installation with the purchase.
Nope.
They wanted another 66 dollars to do that. Yeah, you read that right.
When the big guy asked the cashier about it, he responded with; "I guess the margin on a battery is pretty small". The big guy's response was right on, he said; "Well there's 'margin' on my coming back..."
Big points to the big guy. Small points to C-Tire. -

Wow this place is the place to go for your camping needs (and kitchen too).
Unfortunately like all locations, finding an assistant can prove challenging (i.e. finding someone to unlock the butane storage cabinet to purchase some and then have it walked to the cashier due to people stealing them?)
Ahh well. -

I can't believe they asked me to leave my backpack at the front when I carry around a laptop. I left the store immediately rather than continuing to look for my purchase. The customer service desk was quite rude and was not understanding when I declared why I wouldn't leave my bag with them. Sorry but I trust you no more than you trust me.

I have a love hate relationship with Cdn Tire... I get sucked in cause they have good prices and usually a good selection, plus the 90 day refund policy... I hate the lack of staff and how busy they get.... Never the less I keep coming back... They have the biggest selection of on "sale" home & auto supplies around..

I am giving this rating to the Main Street Canadian Tire solely on the merits of one outstanding young employee whose name is MacKenzie (I believe that is how he spells it). Polite, helpful, goes the extra mile and calls when he says he will. It's very clear that this employee enjoys his job and will go on to higher things. I am guessing he is a student. We also had exemplary service from a female manager there during the recent purchase of patio furniture. She too had a true desire to satisfy the customer (us).
