    I am the middle of a stressful move and was in need of some rather random but specific items:

    A foldable step ladder (so I can get to the cookie jar on top of the fridge)
    A bathroom cabinet
    A shower curtain liner
    Shelving unit
    Pad lock
    Bread Box

    After some thought it occurred to me that Canadian Tire would have all these items and lucky for me was right down the street.

    This is a very small store, and although I did find everything I was looking for two giant factors lead to this most dis-favourable review:

    1- THE PLACE SMELT LIKE URINE! Most Canadian Tires have an odd smell but I have never come across one with such a fowl, strong urine smell. I have heard of resident cats but based on the smell I was expecting to run into a resident homeless person squatting. There is no doubt in my mine that this was by far the dirtiest smelliest store I have ever entered and I used to work for Goodwill as a teenager!

    2- Worst customer service ever... I fell in love with a cute little bathroom cabinet that had just been marked down from $80 to $31(SCORE). I looked around for the boxes and couldn't find it anywhere. It took 15 minutes to located an associate who then took another 15 minutes to go into the storage to look for this cabinet. He came back to tell me there was none... that was all he said! I asked if I could have the floor model for a discount in which he said I guess but no discount! I worked retail for years and it is my personal pet-peeve when a floor model is out with no stock and no discount! It took him another 10 minutes to get his tools to take the cabinet down.

    I paid for my stuff and left this urine oasis...never again kids, never again!
