This Canadian Tire is the one that's closest to the Calgary Airport. On the last day of a given business trip to Calgary, I usually end up with some extra time and am in no hurry to hang out on the other side of Customs for long periods of time. So I hop in the car and either go to Chapters (near the other side of the airport) or pull up to the Canadian Tire Gas Bar and then stop in the main store and look around.
Since I'm heading home, I usually have home projects on my mind, which makes it a dangerous time to come here. I have to remind myself to not pack any flammable liquids, not to buy anything that violates California VOC standards, and to make sure that anything I really need fits into the suitcase, and most importantly, I can explain it to Security if they open things up.
