Review from Rachael T.

Although it took me two tries before I actually got to send out my mail.. The first time i went at prime time lunch hour and there were probably 10 people waiting in line so i opted not to wait.
The second time the post office was empty. the lady was super nice when I got to the counter. She waited patiently as I sorted out all 30 of my letters being mailed to the us, rest of Canada and internationally.
She gave me all the stamps and even took the time to help me put them on.. Probably because there was no one in line before more.... She even struck a conversation with me making time go by quickly as I continued sticking the stamps on.
The only down side to this experience was the huge postage bill. It's amazing how much stamps have gone up in the last few years. Maybe I don't snail mail much anymore so it seems like such a huge spike. Oh well.... You can't do anything about it.
If I had to choose I would probably come here to post my mail, but if there was a reason to have to do some grocery shopping and necessities, I would walk to the shoppers drug mart at king and Peter where there is a post office inside also. -

One of the nicest free-standing, government-owned (not authorized outlet) locations in the downtown area. Location has modern, retail look and offers a great selection of stamp and coin related gifts, in addition to postage and shipping services.

Review from L. P.

The letter carrier who delivers mail to my building leaves the mail half in and half out of the slot in the door. Therefore, anyone can walk past and pick your mail out of the mail slot. Despite many complaints to Canada Post and the M.P., nothing has changed and he still does this. When people complain about him, he says,"I guess I'll just have to shoot them." When management and the M.P. know and nothing changes, it's clear the letter carrier is allowed to do this. I pay to have my mail delivered elsewhere so that I know I'll actually get what's sent to me. Call me old-fashioned, but I think the main purpose of federal mail delivery is for mail to get through to the Canadian public, not just so that Canada Post workers can have a pay check. I try not to use Canada Post anymore than I absolutely have to. I wasn't cheering for Canada Post in the strike and I won't vote for the M.P. either.
