I've been to Canada Hifi many times, and I take my friends there.
The staff are friendly and the prices are decent. Want a cable or an ipod accessory? Great place to get them.
I'd agree that the selection for other things isn't wide but what they have are sold at a decent price.

I'm not sure how to take Canada Hi Fi; this is the kind of store that if
you are walking along virtually any street in Toronto you will pass it and
not notice. This store has a small computer selection and a dozen flat
screens and that's about it. The staff was friendly, attentive and just
a tiny bit desperate, but the selection wasn't good and the prices were
a bit higher than you'd find and elsewhere. I'd like to recommend this
store because it seems that the owners need the money but the truth is
that the selection isn't good and the prices are high so I can't..
