During my last visit to the north I really wanted to go for a swim so I thought I would drop in to the Canada Games Centre.
Canada Games Centre is a large complex that consists of skating rinks, indoor running and swimming. This particular visit I only came here for the pool.
In the pool area there is a 200 foot water slide, lazy river, wet and dry saunas and a 8 lane pool. These things alone make for a pretty nice pool but that's nothing compared to the view.
That's right, I don't think I've ever went swimming in a public pool that had such a nice view. Instead of doing laps I wanted to just hang out in the water and stare through the glass walls out towards Whitehorse and it's surrounding mountains.
To drop in for a day it cost me just over $7 bucks, seems like a pretty good deal to me. Definitely worth checking out if you are a fan of swimming like I am.
