Review from Chauncey B.
Vancouver, BC
Located in the heart of Vancouver's beautiful East Village, a vibrant, multicultural area that runs along East Hastings Street from Commercial Drive to Renfrew Street and includes the Powell Street light industrial area, and is in no way related to the Downtown Eastside! It's practically a different East Hastings altogether, and frankly the local BIA would really rather you never mention it again.
Delicious pasta! This and its sister (mother?) restaurant are just so good, both of which I have authentic enthusiasm for that could only come from a firsthand consumer experience (only complaint: I wish Campagnolo was in SoMa, so I could add an extra layer of barely-hidden contempt to my "review"*).

I had nothing in the fridge and was craving Italian. I was on my way to do my groceries and this location happens to be right across from my favorite grocery store. After trying the one on Main for brunch last year, I had high hopes for this place. But I was let down. Here is my review on my experience there.
1.Staff was rude-ish
2.The Pizza Margherita was "okay" seems to me they are trying too hard. This pizza is supposed to deliciously combine simple ingredients ... Fail
3. The spaghetti Carbonara was good, well cooked. Much better after we added the arugula to it. -

Normally you don't need reservations, unless it's Valentines day.
Then you need to make sure you check out their website for the daily / weekly specials and if you need to call for a reservation!!
We did, and we got a spot for two at 7. While everyone else who came that night, about half didn't have the reservations and had to either come back later, or wait or try somewhere else. I'm sure glad we got our table. The service was comforting and pleasant and the food was even better!!
Please note that this review is a 5 star for the Pizza, which was the rapini pizza weekly special and very tasty. The next day it was even better. 6 stars!
Some of the other dishes we had were:
Grilled rapini over porchetta and mashed taters. The grilled rapini was perfection. Another 5 stars! The porchetta was unfortunately a 3.5 stars. It had flavour, but lacked the crispy baked skin and the meat was a bit rubbery. There is a technique to doing this just right, which I think they're still working on it at the time. I'm sure, the next time they serve it, it will be up to par with the rapini.
Octopus salad was decent. we gave it a 4 stars.
It's been written about before, so have a look at the other reviews on this.
There was only two let downs for the meal and I'm keeping a blind eye to this in order to keep my 5 star rating for the Pizza and the rapini.
The water was the imported blue brand water from Italy, but we got the natural one instead of the carbonated version. I wanted the latter and without the bubbles, it just tastes a bit salty and mineraly..... actually it wasn't very tasty.
Lastly was the coffee. We both had the Americano's and we couldn't figure if it was the coffee or the water that had a wierd taste. Maybe it was the espresso machine.
Either way, the coffee got a 1 star from us and the water, she avoided and I drank came to a 2 stars.
Other than that, this place is wonderful and it was a great night to celebrate Valentines day with a very very good friend.

Campagnolo Roma on East Hastings is the newest venture between Campagnolo and Refuel Group recently opened this past summer 2011. Tom Doughty and Chef Rob Belcham mirrored original concepts from Campagnolo on Main with a focus to Roma Italian dishes ex. amatricianas and carbonaras.
The 35 seat space plus outside patio restaurant is located in the Sunshine community, directly opposite from Red Wagon (click) and El Barrio Restaurante Latino (click). With so many great competition a few steps away, it's hard not to expect Campagnolo to up their game also.
Campagnolo Roma is a casual 'walk in' local gem featuring inexpensive and unpretentious concoctions. Interior is wood based much like Oakwood Canadian Bistro (click) in Kits and features a bar dining area facing the kitchen staff in action.
Local octopus salad $12
Endivia leaf served with chilled potato, gaeta olives, and red wine vinegar. Endivia are rich with vitamins and minerals but has somewhat of a bitter raw taste. The octopus was deliciously warm with texture and chew; neither tough nor overcooked. The red wine vinegar balances the bitterness of the leafy greens well.
Initially we wanted to try the classic spaghetti carbonara; but Amy heard that it was towards the salty side from other review she's read online. Perhaps this also why the waitress also confirmed us that because it is a classic with lots of cured meat and sauce that it tends to be saltier. It is nice that warning in case it comes and shocks your tastebuds.
Specials of the night:
Tagliatelle Tartufato $19.95
As the name suggests it is Pasta with Truffles. Melted butter, pecorino (a hard Italian cheese made from ewe's milk) and thinly sliced black umbrian truffle. Subtle tasting truffle in a lightly tossed cream sauce with al dente pasta. I like how the sauce doesn't overwhelm. Surprising was the thinly slice truffle is not as pungent as I would imagine. Instead it is quite tasteless initially, the truffle flavor comes more as an aftertaste.
Carnaroli Risotto $16
Medium grained rice native to Vercelli, northern Italy traditionally used for risotto as it retains shape better than other forms of rice during slow cooking. Served with BC porcini mushrooms, diced chives, and pecorino romano drizzle lightly with olive oil. Olive oil gives is shine and extra fragrant. This risotto is cooked perfectly al dente yet supple, fluid creamy texture.
Honey Panna Cotta $8
A delicious Italian custard made with cream, milk and sugar served with local pears, shortbread sugar cookie. Tastes like a chilled almond pudding, smooth and rich with creamy. Lightly tasting pairs merrily with sweet baked pears. Overall a very good dessert, even though the shortbread was replaced by a stale sugar cookie. How disappointing.
I promised to come back here with Dave sometime soon. This was actually part of our To-Eat list but I jumped the gun for a girl`s night instead. Although I brought him some take-out, it just doesn't beat dining in-house with a beer or two!
What we want to try next time:
Pizza Marinara - tomato sauce, garlic, fresh oregano with an added egg
Spaghetti carbonara
The cure's salumi platter
Seasonal olives (I wonder if the olives are served both warm and cold)
Tiramisu alle campagnolo -

The funghi pizza is my fav, also like the whipped ricotta, and salumi plate. However, I wasn't that fond of the pasta, but definitely a great place to just chill and grab a drink with friends. Especially nice when it gets warmer and you can sit out on the patio.

I have no choice but to upgrade my review to 5 stars after coming here again and not getting sick from inadvertent dairy poisoning - the food is just too good.
We came for the $15 pizza and beer special (every day between 5-6pm and 9:30 - 10pm), and couldn't have left happier.
I decided not to tempt fate and I went with one of two already-cheese-free pizzas, the Romana, which comes with olives, anchovies on a tomato-sauce base. It was simple and perfect. The toppings were sparse and spread out, so each bite highlighted one ingredient at a time - garlic...olive...anchovy...just so, so good.
Paired with a nice ale for $15, you can't go wrong. I adore this place!Listed in: Hastings Sunrise - the best…, Date Night

We had friends flying in from Shanghai and they've been craving great non-Asian food since landing and wanted to go out for something they can't get back home. They had a 4 year old girl and we needed a comfortable place to be....fast-forward 2 days and here we are @ CampRoma.
We started the night with a large order of the Salumi platter and two bottles of the fattoria di basciano, a fine chianti from Tuscany.
The meats were delicious, served with warm, crusty bread...which is better what you normally get in Italy (yes, in Italy, they don't seem to care with the bread so much....foccacia is good though). The platter is a excellent way to start the meal.
I ordered the daily risotto special (risotto di funghi) and my wife had the tagliatelle. The risotto was awesome, great richness to it and the rice was cooked to the right texture. Could use maybe a stronger flavour to it, but it was good as is. Tagliatelle, heavy and light all at the same time...that's how I would describe it. The roasted pumpkin made my wife quite happy.
Finished the meal off with tiramisu and a espresso. Wow, that tiramisu...damn...what a dessert. Could go back for just that.
To finish this review, I would like to say I'm glad that there is a simple Italian place like this in Vancouver. Relaxed and rustic....the very essence of Italian cooking. -

Tasty Pizza and other great goodies!
Randomly came across this place because it was close to my friends house. It is a quaint little space. Casual environment with romantic lighting. Our server was friendly, but she forgot to mention the specials board above the kitchen window. The food we chose off the menu was delicious. We ordered the Carbonara, which was really peppery but had good flavor. The server told us it would be peppery, so it is meant to be that way. Then we shared the Funghi pizza and added pancetta. This pizza was so delicious. The crust is like no other... not uniform, crispy and thin. it had just the right amount of seasoning to keep you going back for more. I was pretty much fighting for the last piece. -
Review from Karen R.
The food is outstanding - and I think you get bang for your buck here.
We started off by sharing a bottle of the Pergolo prosecco which at $35 was a good deal since restaurants usually charge a lot more for bubbles. The others who weren't drinking got the sparkling lemon drinks and the bartender made them look "grown up and fancy." The rest of the wine list was really reasonable - glasses started at $6.50 and went to about $11.
We went with the olives (a large jar full of all types of olives, artichokes, beans, onions topped off with a healthy amount of fresh lemon zest), whipped ricotta (creamy goodness, seasoned with the perfect amount of salt and pepper and topped off by fresh olive oil) and then the bruschetta.
The bruschetta needs its own section of the review. Holy mother of all that is right in this world this was the star of the night. First off, the plate comes with 3 pieces but since we were 4, they added an extra one at no charge - it's nice to not be nickel and dimed....anyway, back to the bruschetta. The pile of beets were tender and flavourful, doused in oil and scallions, with crunchy pistachios and a piece buffalo mozzarella all resting on top of a fresh piece of crostini. The balsamic drizzle on top, took it to the next level. The next time I go, I will have an order all to myself. :)
We all decided on pizza for our mains - I had the fungi pizza with mushrooms, spinach, ricotta and an organic egg. The crust was thin and charred - the mushrooms were plentiful and delicious - my only complaint would be that the egg was a little overcooked. Had the yolk been a little more on the runny side, it would have been a perfect dish. The other pizzas looked delicious and they were huge.
We ended off the night with the tiramisu and chocolate semifreddo. The tiramisu was light and fluffy and a great way to end the meal. The chocolate semifreddo was good but quite rich (good for sharing).
Overall this was a great night. The ambiance was nice, the food was great, the service was friendly (though our waitress tended to call everything "amazing," a tad OTT but nice) , the booze was cheap..this is a really nice casual place if you want a change from having to go downtown.Listed in: Dinner Club

Had lunch here today - What a let down. After all the rave reviews I was a bit disappointed to only have 4/5 pasta dishes to choose from. When the food arrived it was dry and mediocre at best.
We sat at the window with the sun cooking us from the top and a heater frying us from under the table .... When we asked the waitress if she could switch the heater off she said no the other gues will be cold!
So clearly we not as important as those guests....
I will never return ..I ate at mom and pop Italian places that had better service and food and that charge much less to be insulted by the waitress. -

Enjoyed CR again last night on the patio, on what was probably one of our last patio nights of the summer. They had blankets which was great since there are no heat lamps. Just watch that you get one without hair on it. Why do I always get the one with long black hair? :)
Not much to look at in this hood, except for the glaring dry cleaner whose date was behind by exactly one month; this only made me wish that it REALLY was August 10th. :) I also enjoyed looking into the Red Wagon across the street which was ready to go for breakfast the next day.
Another highlight was the former junkie who was walking her cat on a leash around the block at least two times. I used to walk my cat, but never with a leash, so I was quite impressed.
Then there was the elderly couple dining with one of their friends and his mail-order Vietnamese bride. It was interesting listening to her contribute to the conversation as she somehow tried to fit in with her companions, but she actually looked bored silly, and I almost felt her pain.
OH, and the food. Since we were ordering light we chose our top picks:
1. Wild salad-a bit too wild for my liking.
2. White leek pizza-salty, but a hit nonetheless
3. And always the tiramisu.
4. Decaf latte (49th parallel) was a hit, too, but what happened to the accompanying biscotti?
You could tell that this place has really been discovered by all. Next to us was a table who arrived freshly from the West End, and we finally had to leave as the one attractive fellow looked like he was going to swallow my date whole. (My companion admitted to being uncomfortable by this, too, and although my eyes tried to shoot daggers to mark my territory, alas, my presence went unnoticed.) It wasn't really fair, as I wasn't expecting to have to defend my goods here. But go visit the patio on one of the last nights of summer, and you too can experience all of this + wonderful food!Listed in: Just a "Little" of Italy, ***** Five Star Faves *****, Best Date Night Dinners in the…, Pizza Pies, Short and Sweet

Tiramisu is on my list of best desserts ever. My risotto was great--really smart to use fried provolone, adding a nice crunch to the creamy dish.

This is the kind of place this neighbourhood needed. I consider it upscale but not pretentious. Service was great and the food was great! The dishes are very traditional italian and not the standard westernized versions. They carry wine that you can't get in the local liquor store and that was also top-notch. Fortunately, they aren't to far from where I live!

Love this place, but probably this is a good place for vegans or people who eat more veggies. I came here with my husband and he was a bit disappointed that they didn't seem to have much variety of a meat menu (he enjoyed their food a lot though).
It is particularly worth noting that their tomato dishes were incredibly good! I don't know where they get the tomatoes from... I've never had better tomatoes before. All the other dishes were amazing. Their tiramisu & coffee were also good! -

My mother and I stopped in for some dinner, after our hairdresser told us about this place.
Unfortunately, it was busy, so we didn't get to sit outside. However, the inside is very cozy and warm. I really liked the lights they had hanging from the ceiling! Anyway, the menu didn't have a lot of dishes, so I was a little bit worried. But oh, was I ever so wrong about being worried.
I split the misticanza salad along with the contorno with my mother. The beans were sooo scrumptious! It was heavenly! And the salad was really nice and light.
After we the salad and beans, we decided on splitting the pizza funghi. The pizza smelled amazing, and it was pretty darn delicious too! The chanterelle and button mushrooms were so yummy, along with the fontina cheese. I wasn't expecting something that looked so simple to be so delectable!
Yum, yum, yum. -

J N. was right, you gotta try the Tiramisu!!
Lovely Italian place just off of Hastings. Small restaurant with a couple of seats on the bar, wood decor, and a small open kitchen.
Food: Simple, rustic, and good quality ingredients... how Italian food should be. We had the bruscetta and it was pretty tasty. Pine nuts, marinated eggplants, and yummy mozzarella.
Diavola Pizza: Spicy Salami, provolone, and tomato sauce. The crust of the pizza is slightly charred, soft, and pretty darn good! Not the best I've ever had, but definitely a second best. My only complain about this dish..... give me more meat man!! It was just 5 little pieces of salami :( Oh, btw they have this spicy oil that they make, sooooo good! I kind of forgot what was in it now(black pepper, chili, fennel?), but it was great on the pizza!
The tiramisu was simply amazing! Great end to a lovely meal. Now this one I can say.. best I've had!
Service: Our server was really nice to us. She give us a huge handful of those candies cause my gf loved them soo much! haha.Listed in: Hastings Chow Down

Walking into Campagnolo Roma I had to do a double take. wood planks on the ceiling, check, menu offering thin crust pizza, check, small menu focusing on simple fresh ingredients check. In short I thought I was in one of the many new trendy Italian places in San Francisco or New York.
What made Campagnolo Roma a notch above those places was nothing was over 20 dollars and the service was prompt and helpful.
The menu isn't large but covers a range of antipasto, pasta and thin crust pizzas as well as there being a few daily specials. We had two antipasto, two pasta dishes and one dessert. The cost was far less than what it would be in San Francisco and the quality was just as good if not better.
We were the last table sat on a Sunday night at around around 9:30. The insanely long leather bench seat is super comfortable and the whole atmosphere is nice and cozy and noise was dampened well.
We got the soft ricotta and the bruschetta as antipasto. The ricotta was served with preserved lemon oil and bread and was homemade and lovely. The bruschetta was topped with pickled veggies instead of fresh ones that most folks are used to.
The French spouse got the artichoke tagliatelle which comes in two sizes, the small which she got should be fine for most folks. I got the cannelloni which were stuffed with homemade sausage and there was restraint used on the amount of béchamel sauce.
We end the meal with a honey panna cotta with rhubarb and fennel crumble. The panna cotta lacked the honey flavour and the rhubarb coulis was tasty but didn't marry well with the panna cotta.
All in all it was a good meal at a good price. -

Overpriced and uninspired - my latest attempt at coming here was for a friend's birthday - we were given the wrong appetizer, that looked like a complimentary side of bread and cheese, and then charged $15 for it at the end. Will not be coming back here again.

What's next best to friends? Co-workers, of course. A group of four of us from work dropped in on a Friday night, plus one spouse and one adorable almost-two-year-old. There was little to no wait early in the evening, even for our group of six.
The interior was very comfortable and welcoming, all greens and woods. The crowd was a touch on the "mature" side, but the atmosphere was quite lively. Service was fantastic, company was good, and food was decent. Admittedly, I've had better pizza elsewhere. The margherita was definitely a little on the oily side, and the crust wasn't as good as other places, but it was tasty enough. The bruschetta that we ordered as an appetizer was a hit, as was the tiramisu that ended the meal. The menu is small and dedicated with rotating specials, as well as several vegetarian options.Listed in: Dates are Great

* Spot on *
This new spot has a very casual comfortable vibe. They did a nice job renovating the small space and gave lots of little wood touches to add warmth.
The food was very good.
We started off by sharing a "Glorious Greens" salad. The variety in the mix was amazing. Almost every single bite had a different flavour pop. There were pea shoots, various lettuces ranging from bitter to sweet, mint, cilantro, lemon verbena, and some small edible flowers. Truly a "glorious" mix. It was nicely dressed with a preserved lemon dressing that highlighted the flavours without overpowering them. Nice salad! Photo: http://www.yelp.ca/biz...
The spot prawn and chili spaghetti was spot on (pun only slightly intended!). The pasta was cooked perfectly. It was a bit thicker than most spaghetti, but had the perfect chewiness and doneness. The spot prawns, which are in season now, were cooked perfectly. The hints of chili highlighted the flavours and intensified the sweetness of the prawns. A wonderful bowl of pasta. Photo: http://www.yelp.ca/biz...
The diavolo pizza was well executed as well. The crust had a nice chew and char. The spicy salami added just the right amount of heat to a rich yet not overpowering sauce. Considering this is not a pizza specialist they did a superb job on it. Photo: http://www.yelp.ca/biz...
What would such a meal be without an affogato to wrap things up. The espresso was made with 49th Parallel beans and it complemented the rich creamy vanilla gelato perfectly. They bring the espresso in a separate container to the table and then pour it over the gelato for you so that it doesn't overly melt before reaching you. Nice touch, and a nice ending to a great meal. Photo: http://www.yelp.ca/biz...

Review from Roanna Z.
We were treated to our 1st Campagnolo experience tonight at the sister location to Campagnolo Main St. This is another bright star in the East Village. (Hastings west of Nanaimo).
Right away upon entry you get a sense of the love that went into the renovations and interior design of the place.
I don't want to ruin it for you by telling you about all the delightful and artsy finishes they did, but I will say the tiny light shades are so charming !
As for the dining, this is like 4+ star dining in a casual environment. We had the Spot Prawn special, split open and braised with olive oil, served on a bed of arugula. My favourite was the smoked octopus salad, I've never had anything like that and enjoyed it a lot. The food is simply prepared with total respect and all the true flavour comes through. I requested my dish be prepared with consideration to my non gluten and non dairy limitations, and it was no problem. I do wish there were more options for gluten intolerants like myself though.
Friends had the Diavola, spicy salami, tomato sauce, aged provolone pizza. It smelled and looked fabulous. BUT if these little ditties don't do it for you, they also serve 49th Parallel espresso coffees and seriously sumptuous deserts, like the tiramisu, which our friend said was some of the best she's ever had.
People, get over to the East Village and check it out! I look forward to a return.Listed in: Come on over to the VEV !

i was so stoked to see a hip looking restaurant coming into my neighbourhood. While i love my greasy spoons and diners, it's also nice to have a place for a date night, to take the parents, or to prove to friends that Hastings is the new Main.
Aside from the view of Church's Chicken, which was pleasingly ironic in a way, the patio is comfortable and Hastings desperately needed a patio place to have a drink. So, I'm happy. Blankets on the chairs was a plus.
Whipped Ricotta was the best thing I'd ever tasted. I will return to have several all to myself.
My dad and husband had pasta, and my mother and I had pizzas. We all shared and everything I tasted was seriously amazing. Simple flavours, but well done, and we were all fawning over it. I also tend to overeat and I found myself stuffed, so the portions must be ample.
Dessert we had limoncello on ice. Mmmmm.
My dad is in the wine industry and he and mother dine out A LOT as part of his work. They were impressed and that's a hard feat.
The owner and chef of Roma's is the same guy from Refuel (or is it just Fuel?) on 4th ave. He chose hastings specificly to get away from drama and run a straightforward, but delicious menu.
Drinks weren't cheap, but were average prices for Vancouver.
Only downer, no salad. Okay one salad appy, but it was leaves and fennel and some oil. Not really the kind of salad I hoped for.
Good job Roma! -

Great room, great service and probably the best thin crust pizza I have ever had in Vancouver (The Diablo). My compliments on the quality and exceptional pairing of ingredients.
We brought our young kids and while the staff/kitchen was great at accommodating them this restaurant should be enjoyed in the company of adults. I don't often say this but the food is so good and the atmosphere so pleasant, one shouldn't be distracted by little ones (and neither should your neighbors). -

With all the great reviews coming in, I wanted to give Roma another try. My thoughts are still the same as last time: overall, it's just okay. If you're looking for a casual sit-down in a nice setting along Hastings with thin-crust pizza (good value) and pasta, then try Roma... but if you're looking for a place with an interesting menu and selection, there's many more exciting places to visit (like Campagnolo!).The menu is bland and the items don't tantalize the tastebuds just from reading them. And although the ingredients are of good quality, they are very simple and basic, and the taste is just average.
We came for dinner after the PNE on Monday, 8PM. Roma was packed. We shared:
Bruschetta, $8.5
3 toasts with marinated eggplant, pine nuts, buffalo mozzarella. Flavours worked well together, but I found this to be very messy and I ate everything separately - perhaps flatbread may have worked more nicely.
Diavola, $15
Spicy salami, tomato sauce, aged provolone. Covering the full plate, the dough was crispy and the ingredients were zesty and flavourful, but it was very salty ... overly salty. Better than the Margherita from last time, but not for us. Our server let us try their spicy fennel, red pepper oil, which was excellent. Try or ask for it! It's on the house :)
Rigatoni All'Amatriciana, $17.50. My uncle mentioned this was too salty as well.1 Previous Review: Show all »

love this place.
the pizza and beer happy hour is my favorite.
i just gotta say this place knocks it out of the park with its pizza but comes up short with the pasta. maybe its just too hard to do the pizza so well that they have nothing left for the pasta.
eaten here three times, had the pizza twice, wouldnt go back to the pasta, had a bad experience and the other two people ive seen eat the pasta had similar experiences.
once it was served almost cold, and the others were just what would fall in my MEH category.
still though i love it. -
Review from George H.
I ate here with a friend during the summer and really enjoyed their food. This is a great addition to the neighbourhood since the location before them was a place that sold a sandwich and beer for $6.95! lol
We each had a glass of wine to start then split all of these dishes: Garlic Spaghetti (daily special), ceasar salad, bruschetta and a Marinara Pizza. Each dish tasted great but the portion sizes weren't huge. 4 dishes for 2 people usually means we're stuffed and need to be rolled out but we finished everything and were pleasantly satisfied.
We were able to sit on the patio which was nice cuz it was a really hot evening but the traffic and noise on hastings street isn't the most appealing ambiance. The service was good and the dishes came out efficiently. I would go again but I would be a little more choosy on the items I order and ask about them first.
The total bill plus tip came to approximately $85. -

First let me say, I love the view of Churches chicken across the street. I like the interior of the place too, with cozy banquets and rough wooden tables.
The menu is small, which is usually a good sign. I'd rather have a few good choices at this price point, than a long menu not as carefully or thoughtfully prepared.
The theme of this restaurant is the food of Rome, and the menu features appetizers such as grilled shrimp, octopus, salad and salumi and cheese. Then they have pizza and pasta. I thought pizza was Neopolitan? There are no main courses unfortunately, and few menu options that are gluten or lactose free, This is why I give it 4 stars.
But my pasta with spot prawn, pepper and garlic was prepared perfectly and it was wonderful!
I will check back to see if they get more options without gluten and dairy. I hope this place is a success! -

Campagnolo Roma is a small restaurant space and the servers and kitchen staff buzzed about, trying to do their best on a busy, bustling sunny Sunday afternoon. I had the Bianca pizza, which had loads of sweet braised leeks and roasted cauliflower and was very generous in size, but the extra beauty of it was its perfect, crispy/chewy slightly charred crust. I think it must have been the work of the young-looking man with flour all over his Birkenstocks, as earlier I had seen him tossing rounds of pizza dough up to ceiling-height cramped inside the tiny kitchen. Seems amazing they can churn out such lovely food in such a small space, it was inspiring actually. I'll be back soon for more pizza!

All in all the food is really good. The pasta fresh and tasty, the pizza was above average. Liked the little details like spicy fennel oil. Good value and a great place for a casual night out in East Van.

I've been there a bunch of times in the last 2-3 months and have always come out very happy. It's a total treat to eat there! Price is very reasonable and t's worth every penny. The atmosphere is great... not pretentious.. casual but yet very nice! It's overall a great place to hang! Go with your best friends... it's that kind of place!
